4 day work week

Ever woke up in a ditch from an 80 hour work week? Spent all the money I banked that summer having to buy a replacement vehicle.

Spent almost 5 years working 3 jobs. Had to help out family. Did it suck? Yep. For many people hard work us a part of life. My grandfather literally walked to and from work for almost 30 years. Before he died at 89 I chronicled his life and recorded him. I asked him how he did it. He told me hard work is the key to a long and healthy life. He was living proof of that.

So you're saying you're not a slacker and you actually work hard for a living? I'm actually thinking about moving to San Francisco so I can steal some chit.

I'm right here, thank you very much.

Maybe one day you'll be open to hearing about how academia is full of disparate experiences, long hours, and knives in the back.
I’ve heard…. I once worked with a Ph.D from Vanderbilt and he’d share stories

It’s actually the McDonald’s and Duncan Donuts that are killing Americans

Let’s set the record straight here ... there is absolutely nothing better sweets wise than a hot off the line original glazed ... except maybe a 2 day old original glazed fried a minute on each side in butter. Glorious I tell ya !

I've been thinking of going back to the workforce and teaching, but then I think about how being retired I already don't get enough exercise.

A short order diner in my hometown used to fry a honey bun on the griddle and top it off with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. Delicious.
