Bo Hardegree probably has better numbers then both Crompton and Ainge at this point after 2 scrimmages. Granted 2nd team defense or worse.

UTsports had him down as 8/9/95 yards. Close to perfect. There was a rumor that the players felt he should be the starter, I'm beginning to see the evidence why.

I'm only going by their article, it could very well be wrong. You were at the scrimmage.

i have no idea what you are talkin about. i was talkin about how well hardegree is playing. you need to take a more positive attitude and stop being so down on this team.:thumbsup:

Hardegree has had some nice scrimmages against the third team defense. Also keep in mind that 65 of those yards came on the pass where Lucas Taylor just blew by the CB.

Not to take anything away from Bo but we aren't exactly comparing apples to apples here. By that logic Roy Osambilo (sp?.) should be our starting tailback.

I believe you, I just don't remember it that way. I could be wrong but I did see Morley in there with the first team and Stewart playing with the second team. I saw a lot tonight so who knows. :dunno:

i was only giving some weight to that rumor that the players felt hardegree knew the offense better then crompton and was playing better ainge, made few mistakes, etc; and should be the starter after last week.

I know, I just don't buy into it. What he is seeing defensively against the third team defense is not a fair comparison of what he would see at #1 or #2. There is a big drop off. I will say that he has impressed me though.

Don't you think that if there was remotely anything to the Hardegree stuff that the coaches would give him more than 9 throws?
