(8) Butler vs. (1) Pittsburgh

You don't call either of the those fouls, the one on Pitt was especially awful though. Whatever though, cool for Butler.

I have been watching basketball 10 years and played enough basketball. If Pitt wanted to go to overtime then the guy should have just stood there and not fouled. He fouled Howard, it got called. No problem at all.

I would bet a lot of money you want to be a police officer.

I have a problem with a foul 90 feet from the basket with .8 seconds left in a game to decide the victor.

I guess I am crazy

No you're right. The foul on Butler had to be called. It was a shooting foul on which the game hinged. The foul --itself, not the call-- on the other end had nothing to do with the outcome

If tennessee is rebounding there, none of you guys have a problem with that call

Sure it had an impact on the game. Pitt's packing it bags to go home.

The foul, not the foul call! Gee, of course the resultant free throw impacted the game. That's what all of the commotion is about. What density some of you guys possess.

I guess I can dare to dream about a possible final four.

Embarrasing for both teams, but it's interesting to see that Butler's making another deep run in the tournament.

I have a problem with that last call every time. Of course you would want the win, but it's a bs way to lose a game.

Why would it be a makeup? Mack stupidly, and obviously, fouled

I don't have an issue w the first call. If the second foul was under butler's offensive basket, I call it. I dont blow that whistle 90 feet away with .8.

Apparently you're just really ignorant on the game then - what have you been watching for those 10 years? Sorry - it was a bad decision to not look the other way on that play. And I was pulling for Butler - but that was utter BS.

What about the call before that sent Brown to the line? Both were clear fouls and had to be called.

But it was not even a close call. Dude chopped him. It was a foul, and it was called as such. Sometimes the refs get it right guys

You can't put it in the hands of the ref right there. That was a terribly stupid play. Don't blame it on the refs, just like with the terribly stupid foul by Butler the second before.

I agree, both were the right call. The Pitt foul may have been the dumbest I have ever seen in tournament history.
