Now this is really a profound statement from a Florida fan. When I see comments like this from other schools it makes it even more clear why Vol fans are the best fans in college football! Jones is correct! GO VOLS!

Boy when it comes to UF there sure are a bunch of whiny, depressed and pathetic Vol fans. I always assume we are going to beat UF. We would have beaten them last year if CBJ would have started Worley. This year is no different. I think we will beat them.

Quit being a bunch of Debbie Downers and negative Nancy's.

Seriously, Tennessee had the better team for a few of those match-ups and there were others that Florida was the better team talent wise.

Florida had two advantage's Tennessee "rarely" did. Spurrier and confidence.

Agree. Not many years since the Spurrier era have we had more talent than UF.

We had a good shot in 2012 and 2013 and below it both years.

We have a good shot again this year... do we blow it again?

We lose this year and suddenly its the 'bama '71 - '81 streak all over again. That's completely unacceptable.

I've actulally started a book entitled "1001 Ways To Lose To the Florida Gators". Many more games like last year, and I will be able to publish it sooner than I expected.

Awful lot of negativity here, sports fans. It's a good thing our current coaches and players......along with most of us fans, don't buy into the paranoia of fateful losses. Fulmer just couldn't match Spurrier at late game adjustments, and Chavis couldn't and still can't figure out many things concerning quick inside pass routes. Kiffin might have pulled a W off and......Dooley? We've got a different set of components now and, just as soon as a talented but young defense finds itself, UT's going to hang a lot of points on a lot of foes.......including FU in K-town this fall. Get your jorts off our site, gator trolls.

I have to admit that I get irrational when I think about the UF game. That loss to a really bad Florida team last season sums it up. While I believe in Coach Jones, there's a massive mental bloack that will require a complete cultural change for us to overcome it.

I'm hopeful that our guys will find a way this year, but I can't bring myself to be confident about it yet. We've just found ways to lose too many times even when we had the advantage. It's gonna take leaders to emerge on the field in a big way.

Yep. 96, 02, 06, 10 & 12. All games we lost with better or equal team at home.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You for this! I have watched a 10 year Bama streak and in one of them we had a field goal blocked in the last part of the game and they kicked the winning FG with only seconds left. Talk about ways to lose a game. I never thought we'd beat Bama then and then I watched Peyton and those Vols roll into Legion Field and blow them off the field. It will be out turn soon against the Gators!
