9 spots left, how does the class finish up?

That is why I a scratching my head as to why the staff accepted a commitment from Devrin Young so early. It's not like schools are knocking his door down to sign him. I wish we would have held out at least until official visits. These players have not even gone on official visits yet. There are a lot of players still left out there and a lot can happen once players start checking out UT on their official visits. We are not giving ourselves much wiggle room. The staff may like D. Young, but why not wait? Chances are they could still probably sign him come NSD, if they really needed to fill the class up. I just do not understand. I wish they would have moved this fast with Eric McClain. That dude is a stud and will be much more valuable over his 4-5 year college career, IMO.

Kids get their offers pulled all the time. It's not set in stone that Young will be a Vol. Calm down.

I think we need LB's. Our Lb's blow. Thompson is very overrated IMO. No playmakers at that spot. Lathers will be good w/ time but besides that it seems bleek.

Thompson is graduating.

King is just a sophomore and will be good if he can stay healthy. Austin Johnson will be back. The staff likes Probst and Crump.

I really think that Crump is going to be a sleeper. Austin Johnson has impressed the heck out of me thus far. It makes me wonder how much better he would be if he would have played MLB from the get go. Either way, Johnson is a football player. I am hoping that Christian Harris ends up a lot like him.

I know King should be good and Johnson will be good but we need to hit on a GREAT one sooner or later. King and Johnson are servicable.

BAMA: NICO JOHNSON/JERRELL HARRIS
LSU: SHEPPHARD
FLORIDA: BOSTIC/JENKINS

These guys are playmakers. Guys that can run with TE's, make 1 on 1 tackles with RB's, and can rush the passer. Our LB's will make the occassional play but we need to hit on a LB. A.J looks to have huge upside but I'd like us to bring in Dunaway and Paul and hope 1 hits.

Competition isn't great but he consistently outran good angles. I didn't see him take a direct hit a single time.

The "ok" thing was more directed to GT09. The guy who basically called him a Vol lock from his "sources".

But the above is also funny.
