A friend of mine in ADs office has indicated that a group of board of trustees and some big donors are lobbying for one more shot at Fulmer group..they want Fulmer, Chavis along with some big shot OC..(if not Cutcliffe)..Hart is said to be against this idea..he isn't willing to take any such back step and also is willing to give Dooley few more years..interestingly Hart likes both our OC and DC...It will be interesting to see how much longer he can handle that pressure from so called "influencial" group...!!!
Hey its worked ok for Kansas St. not so sure it happens here though
Eating breakfast at MiMis and Fulmer is here with some boosters. They are obviously talking seriously...
Now, I don't think there is a chance in hell of him coming back but I bet they want his opinion on things going on.
I'd go talk to him, but they look pretty occupied.
Since you know these guys are big boosters. Which ones are they. Cause there is no way he is having a business meeting with his current job. Come on man get real. You have no clue who he is eating with and you just decide to say he is meeting with big boosters and talking seriously about what is going on with the program. Get real. Just another thread that has no credibility just to stir more stuff up.
Lol. Proven head coach huh?
1. Even with Fulmers awful final years he stands at 152-52 wins vs losses. That's a ratio of .745 which ranks among the highest winning coaches in football.
2. Awards include:
AFCA Coach of the Year (1998)
Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year (1998)
George Munger Award (1998)
Home Depot Coach of the Year Award (1998)
Sporting News College Football COY (1998)
SEC Coach of the Year (1998)
3. Championships and Titles:
1 National Championship (1998)
2 SEC Championships (1997, 1998)
6 SEC Eastern Division Titles (1997, 1998, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2007)
Sorry, but that seems pretty "Proven" to me. And, it's a successful coach that WANTS to be at Tennessee.
Not saying he's the right choice, but please don't make a post claiming he hasn't proven himself. Thanks.
We can't have threads of hope for this program unless they center on all the woes of Dooley.
Pretty sure Fulmer wouldn't make excuses about who left him with what and how he needs more time to fix it. He'd just get to work. 8 games this year... easy for him, a real stretch for Dooley.
