I'd think a Google would answer that question. There is a WIKI if people agree with that definition. But again, it gets down to the nuts and bolts. I'd rather not have weapons that 'rapid fire' or high capacity magazines in the general public (or bullets that are designed to cause massive damage to the body).
What do you mean by rapid fire? I keep seeing so many people who are clearly clueless about what they are talking about when it comes to firearms. Literally saying things like “with an ar they can just hold the trigger and spray” among other idiotic things. So is that what you are also implying, that the ar platform is full auto?
No joke...X rounds per second depends on how fast the person’s finger can pull the trigger. Keep expounding your ignorance.
Darnit, off to google again to look at 'firing rates'....
No joke...
I had already typed, but then removed, the below response. I just wanted to see how long it would take someone to post the obligatory non-sensical response. Congrats...you won (53 seconds)
You have a gun test fired by 9 people of varying expertise....take the average.....easy peasy.
No, no implying they are full auto? Were fully automatic weapons banned? What I'm saying is that I want to keep a certain level of lethality off the street. Bullets that can do massive damage, weapons that are able to fire at a certain rate, etc. I'd rather not have a school shoot with the ability to fire off numerous rounds within a minute. Why do so many of this mass shooting situations involve AR's?
