Yeah, definitely greater wffort is needed with mental health and I disagree.. I have nevwr in 50 years wanted to kill myself or anyone else.. it isn’t normal, even if transient.. I don’t thinknyou should be disqualified forever, but a very long time

Given the dumb post about “what an AR does to a kids body”

It’s often considered unethical to hunt deer with a 223 because it’s so low powered. You can do it, many people do it, and there’s specific deer rounds that provide more power. But even so it’s still less powerful than more common deer rifles.

If your argument is “well that’s deer not people!”. Adult deer is 100-150lbs. Average person is probably 150-200

You can use .223 here in KY and in my backyard I will use a pellet gun if I want.

In my line of work, I am required to take annual training among other requirements to keep my license. Why can we not extend to other realms?

A .223 tumbles on impact..causing massive tissue loss.

Long time ago..it was said the .223 was a designed to maim an enemy soldier as it would take 2 comrades to remove him from their battlefield. I doubt the accuracy of that statement, but it was kind of folklore back in the 80's. Friend of mine had a full auto AR-15.

To be fair, a number of the denizens of Walmart are topping 300lbs. May need a .300 Weatherby Magnum...
