Ainge going off on Graham!

I think UT has much Bigger things to worry about than loosing a RB coach.....something is certainly amiss on Good Ol Rocky Top

This makes sense. Resented Azzani is recruiting coordinator making more cash. We've probably all been there at some point. If this is true it was best he left.

True.. JG may have thought he knew more than ZA and its hard to work FOR someone you perceive as less informed.

So now Ainge is on the money and tells it like it is? Sorry I can't even keep up with if he's credible or not around here.

Simple.

If AE is saying what we want to hear - he is on the money.

If AE is saying something contrary to what we want to hear - he is an uninformed idiot.

True... like working harder than our opponents on, and off the field, so we are prepared this year for the opponents on our schedule. The program is bigger than a RB coach who is leaving to coach at another school, I couldn't agree more.

...wins are what is missing. Pure and simple. Our problems aren't bigger than wins can cure.

So now Jay Graham supposedly does not work hard...

And he really isn't that great of a recruiter...

Give me a break!!!

You can't have it both ways people. Graham was one of the best recruiters on UT's staff. CBJ gave recruiting coord, position to one of his guys. If Graham wasn't a good recruiter then why did CJF hire him as his recruiting coord???

One reason UT did not land a premier RB this year is because of the offensive scheme run by CBJ. And UT will continue to have that problem due to his scheme.

I have to disagree with this, any RB who is worth his salt, should be able to adapt to any system. Do you think if they plan to play in the NFL that they won't want to get drafted because they don't like the team style of play.

Maybe coach Jones believed what this team needed most was for Jay Graham to give his undivided attention to our RB's, without juggling coaching RB's, recruiting, and coordinating the other coaches' recruiting efforts.

There is no room for an "i" on a team, not even for the coaches. If you are worried about what someone else is doing, then you are not focussed on what you should be doing. This has been a problem here at UT for a while. What UT needs right now is a group of selfless men to take the reigns, so let's hope that's what we have.

When Lattimore is your running back, you're the best RB coach in the nation ... Probably thought he had it easy at USCe b/c Lattimore was so naturally gifted. but whatever, let's get over it

Agreed. Redskins RB Morris had a pretty good season in a similar pistol formation. And he was a 6th rd guy who ppl didn't expect to flourish.

It's all about the back.

Jones emphasizes the run game in his attack. The Bearcats averaged nearly 200 yards on the ground per game this season. His running back in 2010 and 2011, Isaiah Pead, was a second-round pick of the St. Louis Rams in 2011. George Winn, his running back this season, rushed for 1,204 yards. Quarterback Munchie Legaux added 335 yards on the ground.

I actually do think Jay Graham is one of the best RB coaches in the country. I just think his needs as an individual to reach his professional goals, did not mesh with the needs of this team right now. I don't think either party is at fault, and I also think both parties are better off.

He'll being paying much more out in the state of FL, mostly due to the state income tax there. He just wanted an easier place to recruit and coach, and just didn't mesh with this staff's blue collar attitude. Much more of a workman's mentality on this staff now, kinda like Kiffin, just with their shirts on and less glitter and flare.

No state income tax in Florida

He didn't say TN did. The original post (that's been addressed 3 times now) incorrectly said FL had a state income tax.

I even said I was wrong a few posts down. Some people need to learn to read ahead so they don't rehash something someone was incorrect on, and even pointed it out.
