Never debated that. I just think being QB for UGA in 2016 would have been a more difficult task than being QB for UGA in 2017.
i look at recruiting this kid like this....
he obviously hasn't told them to stop. he hasn't said "no". so this staff has some feeling that there's legitimate reason to continue to do so. and with that, some legit feeling that they can flip him.
seems like they have a good relationship with Taulia and the family. the family seems open to continuing the conversation.
so yeah, you keep going until.................
Pruitt sure is a gambler sometimes, that much is obvious. I just hope he has better luck ahead, than he did this past signing day.
I think we hit a homerun considering the "Remember the Schianomo," the 2017 season, first time head coach, assembled a staff, recruited in what 90 days?
(Still upset about Walker flipping but, huge get all things considered).

I don't think it's a gamble in his eyes. I think he is supremely confident in the ability of the staff and himself. I am sure there is always an element of uncertainty, but I think he truly believes he is going to win a lot more than he loses.
He was really confident going into signing day too..I'm not happy about pointing it out, but that did happen.
Look..I'm happy with Pruitt, I believe we got reaaly lucky with him, I just hope he doesn't go full Casey this time..
We need a commitment soon. McGills BVS is starting to flare up again.
I think needing a top QB now is a misconception..... if Pru builds the defense, rbs, and o-line up enough. A serviceable COLLEGE QB can manage and win games.
Of course it would be awesome to have top 100 kids at every spot. If it doesnt happen at the QB spot, I dont think its a major blow.
