Actually it will. By my count we would have 60 scholarship players with eligibility left heading in to next season, meaning that we could take 25 before we hit the 85 limit. Assuming that Tiny and AJ leave for the league that would open up 2 more spots. We would still need 3 more to leave in order to have room for the 30 we are supposedly taking in this class. If Posey and Dallas are both indeed gone then we would still need one more spot to open up.Won't effect how many we take in this class. Will make a difference in next year's class though.
As long as he is in good academic standing I think everything is ok.This can't be good for the team's APR score... they have to keep their four year rolling average up or they will not be eligible for the postseason next year.
Hopefully he leaves the team eligible & goes to another four-year with a 2.6 or better GPA.
I don't know what's more sad, that you're dumb enough to make a statement like this or the fact that a few will believe it?Dallas is gone also. The new coaches repeatedly tell the players THEIR recruits will trump them. FRESHMAN are their main priority. Alot of discord on the team. Expect them to drop like flies and transfer.

I know that, but we still have to be under the 85 limit. Two spots is two spots. I hate to see anybody leave, but it is what it is.It's already set as to how many we can take (the 25 rule, not including back counting). We will take the maximum and work out the scholarship numbers (the 85 rule) later. Of course it helps towards the 85 but we were already going to take a set amount anyways.
Ok. So tell me why Fugate left. In another thread it was confirmed about Dallas and Posey. After i posted first. So do I get any credability for that. I also said coaches. I didn't single one out. I am a vol fan. I want the team to be the Walton's. I want to win. I just stated some truth's. Maybe you will believe me next time. Who cares about grammar and spelling on a message board. This aint the Oval Office!

Bull$$$t!! No coach with half a brain is going to tell them that. Telling them they will have to win a spot, to get a spot whether they are Sr or Fr I could see
Now that could be what's going on. Perhaps the poster is friends with someone on the team that feels they are entitled to a position that a younger player is taking over. They could be misrepresenting what was said.
Some people hear what they want to hear. Opening up spots to competition to some people is disrespectful. Bottomline is the staff is all about winning and will put the player that gives the team the best shot at winning.
