I think you just believe what you want to believe. His high school video could show him doing nothing but posting up and you'd pretend he's a 3. Fact is, he's listed as a power forward and plays power forward. To think he's going to go from guarding high school posts to guarding smaller, faster, better college wings on the perimeter and it just be a seamless transition is incredibly stupid.
To be fair, it is rarely a seamless transition for any player at any position.
I somewhat agree though, having three 6'8" players on the court at the same time might cause issues. One way to find out though.

Robert Dozier.Dude, I've seen him play. This is not coming from a recruiting website or a youtube video; I've seen him for the entirety of several games with my own eyes. He's a small forward, and there's no arguing it. How many college 4's are 6'8" and 215? The kid is a crazy athlete. I don't expect him to struggle mightily with the transition.
And weighed 205 (10 lbs less than Poythress) and was extremely athletic, yet shockingly could only play the 4 and not the 3.
I think you're miastaking him for another player. Dozier weighed anywhere from 215 to 225 while he was at Memphis too.
You've got no foot to stand on here. You obviously haven't seen Poythress play, and must have been drunk everytime you saw Robert Dozier play.
Time to fold the tent, counselor.
with a much more storied history and much brighter future on the hardwood than your school. I just hope Josh runs the score up on 1/4.
