This just goes to show how out of touch some of our school boards/systems are....who'd have thought parents (moms) would be protective of their children?
In my lifetime I've seen well respected occupations sink to lawyer and politician levels of respect - journalist, judges, priests ..... - how soon before we add teachers to that list?

Samuel Clemens: "First, God created idiots. That was for practice. He then created school boards."

School boards control vast amounts of money, in some or most counties they control over half the spending. Most SB members are not in it for the children, they are in it for the $$$. Contracts go to cousins, brothers, kids central office jobs go to relatives in some school systems you can do family trees out of the board members and employees.

Well, well, well… This is interesting. U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland recently instructed the FBI to begin investigating parents who confront school board administrators over Critical Race Theory indoctrination material. The U.S. Department of Justice issued a memorandum to the FBI instructing them to initiate investigations of any parent attending a local school board meeting who might be viewed as confrontational, intimidating or harassing.

Attorney General Merrick Garland’s daughter is Rebecca Garland. In 2018 Rebecca Garland married Xan Tanner [LINK]. Mr. Xan Tanner is the current co-founder of a controversial education service company called Panorama Education. [LINK and LINK] Panorama Education is the “social learning” resource material provider to school districts and teachers that teach Critical Race Theory.

Conflict of interest much?
Yes, the Attorney General is instructing the FBI to investigate parents who might pose a financial threat to the business of his daughter’s husband.

I definitely think it's weird to follow someone into a restroom to protest, especially if I know there isn't an alternative exit.

I believe interfering with a stall door could be legally considered a threat due to space restrictions.
I would have put water all over my hands, then come out of the bathroom, shaking my wet hands so it splashes water on the protester saying, don't you hate it when you piss all over your hands!

I was thinking about those long hikes coming out of the stand at dusk. Dropping trou and launching a rearward scat missile would seem appropriate in this instance too.

No lawyer worth their salt would take that case.
We're not talking about a law firm. This is the DOJ here. Their mostly POS democrats and will go after anybody who opposed their idiotic CRT. DO they really need a good reason? Besides that, how many honest lawyers do you know? They're mostly ambulance chasers anyway.

Do you know these things with certainty?

The Devolution of the DOJ

Merrick Garland's focus on school board meetings over violent crime diminishes the department

GettyImages-1231325629_736x514.jpg

Merrick Garland's Department of Justice has discovered a new group that poses a pressing threat to the country's safety and well being.

Their potential crimes are heinous: Objecting to the propagation in our schools of critical race theory and anti-white racism.

How deep does this criminal behavior go? We can't say. Announcing a "partnership among federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement to address threats against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff," Garland offers no statistical evidence about the rising threat of infuriated parents. He makes no mention of any arrests. He doesn't say whether a police department or state anywhere has asked for the federal government's assistance in stopping "threats against public servants."

These companies suck up valuable resources - money and time - that could better be spent on increasing teachers' material allotments, making desperately needed repairs to facilities and purchases of buses, and increasing the pay of special education aids who bear the most physically difficult job in these buildings.

Programs like these are meant to transfer money out of school systems, that's it.

Garland Told Federal 'Muscle should Never be used against protesting parents'

Senate Judiciary Committee Republicans warned Attorney General Merrick Garland against using federal law enforcement to “chill” or prosecute First Amendment-protected speech opposing “critical race theory” in classrooms following a DOJ memo about alleged threats and violence at school protests.

The letter , led by ranking member Sen. Chuck Grassley and signed by all 11 GOP committee members, said that “violence and true threats of violence are not protected speech and have no place in the public discourse of a democracy” but that “the FBI should not be involved in quashing and criminalizing discourse that is well beneath violent acts” and that “federal law enforcement muscle should never be used against protesting parents.

With zero specific citations to support the claimed threats, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland has now instructed the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI, aka political state police) to target and investigate any parents who challenge local school board policies.
I wouldn't expect to see specific examples cited, in what was just a memorandum, outlining a directive from the Attorney General.

Both the headline and the subsequent commentary misrepresent what the memo is actually saying. Attorney General Garland doesn't say that he wants parents targeted for challenging school board policies. He wants parents investigated who have made threats of violence against faculty and school board members, as well as school administrators.

On behalf of militant teachers unions, the Biden regime does not want school policy (COVID) or indoctrination lesson-plans (Critical Race Theory) to be challenged.
That memo from Merrick Garland never even mentions policies related to COVID, or to Critical Race Theory. In fact, the memo doesn't say that there is anything wrong with parents exercising their right to free speech, and challenging public school policies. This line I have quoted is reading something into the memo which simply wasn't said. It comes across as paranoia.

If parents do not want to see their child forced to wear a mask or have a needle injected into their arm while being told their skin color makes them less worthy of life, that person will become a target of the federal police.
Once again, the memo only says that parents who have made threats of violence, will become a target of federal authorities. Peaceful protests of public school policy decisions were not mentioned.

It really doesn't look as though "the conservative tree house", even took the 1 minute necessary to read that damn memo... either that, or they are paranoid to an extreme, perhaps even a little dishonest.

This is a dishonest narrative.

Merrick Garland has not said that there is anything wrong with peaceful protests of public school policies. Garland has not objected to parents voicing their displeasure at school board meetings, as long as they do it without threatening anyone with violence.
