Alvin Kamara arrested in Las Vegas for Assault

Sounded to me like Kamara wanted to keep the guy off the elevator. Maybe the guy had a problem with someone in Kamara's group, and Kamara was trying to de-escalate the situation. The guy takes offense, disrespects Kamara, and things go down hill from there. I'm not saying that happened. But until all the facts come out, I'm not ready to convict Kamara.
There’s no excuse for this crap period. Kamara is lucky the guy wasn’t killed. Drunk fights happen, hell even happen to decent people making poor decisions. There is no world where it’s ok for a pack of idiots to stomp a man until he’s unrecognizable and had to be hospitalized.

I love my team but this was terrible and he needs to be punished.

Agreed. Picture of victim.

Sorry I've been on both sides of a lot worse. He went to the hospital and was talking the same day. After getting kicked and stomped by quite a few people. It might sound mean to say especially in today's ❄️ society but he got off easy. They were dead wrong for doing that, without question. But if u thing that's bad you've never witnessed a serious beatdown. Kamara ain't a small dude. I dunno I'm old school when you're out drinking and partying you don't walk up to a big group of drunk guys talking s--t and expect hugs. In today's world there always has to be a 'victim' and a villain. Sometimes in the real world and everyone was an a**hole. Its the one without the ability to do simple math that ends up in the hospital. I dunno if it's me and I see an elevator full of dudes and I'm by myself I'm not talking crap to them. You kick a bees nest what do you expect? Them to deliver you a honeycomb?

He will have to deal with the legal repurcussions. And even worse the PR fallout. Whatever comes at home (Kamara) is his own fault for putting himself in that position. All I'm saying is folks are acting like these dudes curbstomped the guy. He just got a little bit of that getright boot.
The guy has a shattered orbit bone, how serious a beat down does it have to be? How much “getright” boot does one have to get before a brain bleed kills them?

This is pointless to discuss really. The same thing happens everytime. He starts running fast again then old dudes who make millions from his athletic ability put it in the back of their mind while they continue to employ him. I mean, why base decisions on character when you can base it on how fast he can run and make you money. Most of these violent millionaires from sports can be stopped at the collegiate level if people weren't so greedy. It would stop them from having the resources (millions of $) to combat prison sentences, which is where they belong.

Regardless of how things came about, that's the one thing I can't let go....they attacked with a pack like mentality, and kept on after he no longer could defend himself. I suspect, maybe we'll get confirmation, what you're going to find, is that his girlfriend, Kamara's, was with them. That's who this guy referred to as being ugly, which likely means words were exchanged prior to comment. If Kamara, only him, had punched the the guy for being disrespectful to his girlfriend....I wouldn't think much of it. But this is an entirely different animal altogether. And I'll add, if this were you or I, bail would have been more than 5k.

Sure is a lot of blind fan loyalty here with excuses.
Guy went looking for trouble blah blah...guy may have been drinking but if you're AK and life on easy mode, you gotta walk away from stuff but like many...I'm not gonna be disrespected. Throwing punches and punching a guy on the ground that's also getting stomped ..oh well AK can deal with the court system and paying people money
I don't feel one bit of sympathy for the guy.

It's bad mojo ego, to attempt any bodily harm on someone due to verbal insults. Physical violence should be the response ONLY when responding to physical violence.

Even just taking a swing at someone to put them in their place... You connect. They fall backward, hit their head on a curb, and die.

Their life is over and so is yours because *your or *your girl's ego can't swallow a little bit of disrespect.

A kind word turns away wrath. A little humility toward people that don't deserve it is wisdom.

(I could see this, by the way. Kamara: "You eyeballing my girl?" Him: "Why would I? She's ugly." Egos were too fragile to let things go at words, and now here we are...)

* "Your" in a general sense, of course Ms Clark. lol

So AK got his posse with him, one of the boys punched the dude. Yet AK felt the need to get involved and punch a man on the ground after someone else had already clocked him.
Yeah, doesn't sound like AK is the sharpest tool in the shed.
Ya got your boys with you, your buying booze, smoke, and hookers. Let them handle it and head to the Escalade.

It does seem like, in addition to a designated driver, you could have a designated indigent person responsible for any fisticuffs.

Kind of my thoughts, your boys handle the dirty work if you're the top of the chain.
Not that I condone what happened

This very thing happened in Bristol several years ago. Very large guy who was an obnoxious drunk unfortunately started sh!t with someone he didn't know. The guy was in the army, not an elite outfit but could handle himself. Army guy hits big drunk, big drunk stumbles, falls, cracks his head open on a curb and dies.

Locals (friends of the victim) wanted to hang this guy. Luckily, when all was said and done, he was not prosecuted, but it still messed him up.

Moral of the story, things can turn BAD in an instant. So be careful and show restraint if possible boys and girls...

Hope however this comes out he’s never identified as a Tenn grad. He cheers for ALABUBBA so let them claim him.
I don’t get this mentality. He’s repped Tennessee. If I was Tennessee graduate and Alabama invited me to the sideline of the NC game, I’d weigh the pros and cons and go to the game.

It took everything in me to not make a Con Air joke 😁

This is all so pointless and sad. I mean, Kamara is one of my favorite players and here he goes and does something that could well end his career and wind him up in prison. Just pathetic.
He won't go to prison. As far as his football career, endorsements, etc, who knows.

He sure didn't help himself by talking to the cops...

Also, did you hear he was seen standing on the Alabama sideline during the NC game? 😱 Gee whiz, what the cops will do with that explosive information...
As I said before, AK talking to the cops was a "rookie mistake" that tells me he's not been in that much trouble. Anyone who has talked with the cops without an attorney has been told once they got an attorney: "Never do that. Shut up and call me."

As for the Bama sidelines, I wish he'd switched at halftime to the GA side so some empty heads around here could really explode.

If we'd get our ish together and PLAY in an NC game again, I'm sure AK would stand with us, even if we played Bama.
