Regarding the assignment of blame, now is a good opportunity to review which party has had the power to pass immigration laws for the last eight years, and who has been in charge of border security for the last two years.

Hint: it's not the Democrats

Two plans were offered earlier this year by Repubs. What participation or counter was made by Dims? They decided to play their cards on midterms. Whoops.

What cards does a minority in Congress hold? It can't even bring a bill up for a vote on its own.

When you’re counting on McCain, Flake, Corker, Murkowski to maintain your 51 majority in the Senate you don’t have a majority. But you knew that. This is a go to line “buuuuuuuuuuut you had 51 votes in the senate!” No they didn’t. Hell Flake held the Senate hostage in his last month. Good riddance to all of them, and Murkowski will fold too in two years.

But that’s ok we’re about to see a similar **** show in the House while they try to hold their majority together.
