Disagree completely. I'm amazed this is an issue.
Palin proves she is not a hyprocrite. In an instance where it would be so easy to change her mind and allow her daughter to have an abortion, she does not waver. She sticks to her principles. What is the problem here?
The Republican pick for VP was supposed to be the appeasement to the conservative wing of the party and her 17 year old daughter is pregnant and that's not going to get talked about?
Seems to me that the Republicans have taken swipes at Obama for drug use 20 years ago, have questioned his choice of clergy, have questioned whether he is, in actuality, a Muslim. Substantively, he is ridiculed for lack of foreign policy experience.
And McCain, who is older than dirt and for whom the VP pick actually matters, picks a running mate who has a pregnant teenager and got her passport a year ago.
Usually, the VP pick does not matter but this choice does matter and it is turning out to be about as bad a one as he could have made.
It says volumes about my ability to understand human nature versus your inability to acknowledge that your guy is fallible.

Guarantee you do not know.

I wasn't there. But come on be honest. Under the circumstances of what she was touted to be for the right wing of the party, can you imagine that McCain would have chosen her if he knew 1) pregnant teenage daughter; 2) got her passport a year ago (given the one thing he was getting traction on versus Obama)?
She is the antithesis of everything she at first blush is supposed to be.
