Another bad apple (George Floyd case)

Yeah? Who was the black lady just killed in the wrong house no-knock raid? Quick! Look it up so you can maintain this totally absurd point.
Lol. Alright man. Your decision to cite another individual case instead of the relevant statistics kind of says it all, but fine.

Let me ask you this. Is the black community over policed or under policed?

How is a riot not a protest? WTF are you smoking? Why do people say "peaceful protest". If it's inherently peaceful, then this is redundant. Why do they say "violent protest"? You telling me that's an oxymoron? Way to think this one through.

People that say "peaceful protest" are wrong. A protest is always peaceful. A revolution against the authority is acceptable but destruction, theft, vandalism of private property is never acceptable.

Whether or not it's "acceptable" doesn't have any bearing on the question of its status as a protest.

You can't say **** like "you'd argue with a fence post" to me and then entrench yourself in a dumb position like this one. Come on dude, this is embarrassing.

One is a right the other isn’t and it takes away from the message , lands people in jail , costs 100s of millions of $$$ , gets innocent people hurt and people always eventually die from it .

You said we know all their names and that proves it doesn't happen that often. I disproved your point. You want statistics, ask for statistics.

Urban black communities are definitely over-policed. End the war on drugs.

What category does the Boston Tea Party fall into?

So to be clear, if the only rioting someone does is burn a police car, do you think they can't say it was for justice for Floyd or in protest of brutality?

Yet another crime. Crimes don't equal protest. What happened to George Floyd was terrible and inexcusable, but all any of this does is make a bad situation worse; nothing positive will come from the violence. More people are going to hurt before it's all over.

You're free to believe what you will, but I just don't see how anyone in their right mind can look at these angry mobs raising heck in the streets, and say 'Oh they're just protesting police brutality for George Floyd. No biggie.'

Yep, seven people were shot in Breonna Taylor’s honor a couple of nights ago.

To you. You don't get to tell other people why they do what they do. It just is what it is, regardless of your judgment.

No idea why it has to be peaceful to be about Floyd, and I doubt you have a good reason for concluding that.

People who loot, assault, and vandalize do so because they are criminals and the reason there’s so many interactions with law enforcement to begin with.

Why can't violent protesters be genuinely protesting Floyd's death and brutality? I gotta hear this explanation.

interesting mindset.“ I’m going to stand up against brutality by gathering with a mob of 10 people and brutally beat a reporter standing in the street that I don’t even know. Then we can burn innocent people’s businesses and destroy their livelihood, maybe grab a flat screen and some shoes on the way out. All in the memory of Floyd!”

I'm not saying they are "just" protesting police brutality. I am saying some of them are genuinely protesting brutality and Floyd. I am against the destruction of private property. **** a police car. This is a perfectly valid response to yet another murder by cop. I wouldn't do it myself, my style is peaceful protest, but no idea why the people who oppose them have to pretend a violent protest is not a protest.

You're confusing some rioters with all protesters. Some people are just plain bad people and want to see the world burn. I don't dispute this. That doesn't mean every protester breaking curfew is bad or has bad motives.
