NBC Dictates that the Minneapolis Riots Should Not Be Called ‘Riots’
But I’d have to say that NBC truly had the take that was perhaps most through the looking glass.
NBC reported they would not be describing this as “riots” but protests.
I think a major issue that results in turning decent people/police officers into the problem is as follows.I agree with the OP that it’s more than just a few bad apples. Police brutality is a very serious issue that needs addressing.
But there’s two issues that get in the way:
1. I don’t have any actual solution (end no knock warrants and road blocks, but that’s not as much related to this). I would love to hear any you may have.
2. Making these issues into racial issues without evidence only further divides us and prevents us from being able to take care of issue 1.
