Another bad apple (George Floyd case)

It appears from the 20 seconds of tape that every news channel runs that the force was excessive but we are seeing one angle. The deceased was obviously able to inhale since his cry’s for relief was louder than the officers. I believe he was having difficulty breathing but was it for the knee or some medical cause ( the officers had an ambulance on the way and suspected he was under the influence of something) It’s Minneapolis which elected Talib so they will side a certain way. I’m not saying the officers are completely innocent but when all the news reports show the same exact film footage and have very similar commentary I question if we are being told what to believe

SMH. You’ve lost your frigging mind if you think a clear full screen shot of a cop with his knee on the throat of a man for Severn minutes is comparable to your picture. You’re the problem.

I wouldn’t call an intoxicated guy with a long criminal history causing a disturbance on drugs and trying to steal from a business “over policing”. They didn’t pull this guy over because of a broken tail light
Good grief. You’re the problem. I guess the death penalty (without due process) for check fraud is reasonable.

Jesus. What is it with some in this thread with these huge straw man comments and reading comprehension?

I have stated the officers were completely in the wrong with the knee thing and should be held accountable. That doesn’t mean it’s “over policing” of why they were called there. Their presence and arrests were 100% justified. The officer placing his knee to the neck and causing positional asphyxiation is not

I'm not anti cop and I've been a white boy all my damn life, to see someone with a badge do this with no regard to anther humans existence......disgusting.
I've been saying it for years now. The black community was the training grounds with regards to military policing of American citizens. The mainstream of America has been shown that first hand during this COVID lockdown, where cops are rough housing middle class white folks like they were Detroit or South Central LA drug dealers.

If anyone is of the belief that this couldn't happen on Main Street Peoria to your wife or children, you are totally delusional and a sheep. The cops have been at war with us for a while now... unfortunately, some of our dumb azzes have realized it yet. This has become American citizen vs the cops.

The whole saying is one bad apple spoils the bunch. If there are so many "bad apple" police then that means all of them have been spoiled.

This here is murder. All over a POSSIBLE bad check.

It is hard to believe this is real. Has this been confirmed? If so, they need to throw away the key on these fools.

Your choice of words are very telling. Look closely at the picture the knee or leg is on the back of his neck or upper shoulders .,. Throat is incite-fully misleading.

Oh, this is the Eric Garner defense. The cops didn't kill him... it was the fact that Garner was overweight or had a pre-existing medical condition.

These cops were fired, but will walk. The reports are all saying he was in “medical distress” already when the cops got to him, then he resisted arrest. They’ll say the knee pressure didn’t kill him, a heart attack or something did. To be fair, it’s worth asking if knee pressure to the side/back of your neck would really cut off your airway.

I also think the Ahmed Arbery shooters are going to get off.

It’s probably smart to start thinking about how the world is going to react to no jail time in either of these two scenarios.

If a cop can kick down your door and kill you while eating ice cream and get a slap on the wrist, there is very little that would surprise me anymore.

I'm not sure, but has the medical examiner ruled on this? If they haven't I'll wait for all the facts before I jump to any conclusion. I agree the video is disturbing and goes against police policy as I understand it.

I mean, he was grunting he couldn't breathe... Just before he passed out.

You're nuts if you think the McMichael hillbillies are going to walk.

Funny that I didn't get an alert that people were still posting in some of these threads. I think some liberals have me on ignore. I know I lay the smackdown on them but 5% of the time I agree with them.
