Antonio Richardson tweet

O Line has a lot to do with the QB play. If you can't push and protect, QB has some problems.

I think he was referring to the actual qb play, pitch and catch, etc, not the protection. OL has been inconsistent and over hyped but if I had to pick one "bright" spot, it will be the OL. They have opened up some massive holes, in every game...I thought they manhandled Oregon early on as well but the backs didn't hit the holes quick enough or missed them entirely. Pass protection has been pretty good as well.

You saved this pos wisdom for your first post? Don't bother posting again unless you can make a sensible statement.

I will post whenever it suits me. Calm down, junior. It is a message board.....that means opinions can be expressed. And be sure to realize our oline sucks! There is something called sarcasm.....oh never mind, only intelligent fans would get it. Welcome to my ignore list!

Please ignore me as well.

Thank you in advance.

This is our biggest offensive probem. After watching 6-7 games today I can honestly say our RBs suck. They dont hit the hole with purpose or speed and they certainly dont finish. Just awful. Hurd and Paulk will be or 1-2 punch as soon as they clock in

It took me a long time to realize this, but criticism spurs success. An individual who can't take criticism will lose in the end. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but in the long run. So, in short, let the people complain. Let it run through you. And don't complain about them complaining until you have convinced them that they need not complain anymore.

Only effective if those doing the criticizing know what they are talking about.

Dude, I am SO stealing this. But I will cite you. :salute:

Great analogy and simple truth.

Perhaps Richardson is acknowledging that our Oline was pushed around and back today, with pressure all over Worley, even so, the rushing numbers were definately up. Either we are so very bad, or S. Alabama is pretty good....

Good, then with all the criticism, we are going to be really good at some point

Idk if u seen Lane run the ball but he hits the hole almost every single time! He runs very hard! I think he is the better running back!

245 yards of our rushing game came in the first half and the first drive on the 3rd quarter. After that, we had two straight drives of 3 and out, and the play calling looked like a Major's game, run, run, pass, punt. Look, if they want to brag about running all over USA for 2.2 quarters, then that's their prerogative, but if you can't salt the game away against a Sun Belt defense and you are a SEC level line, then something isn't right. We should have had 400 yards rushing or more, and never should have put Worley in position to lose the game for us, but they couldn't move their D-line after that initial possession of the 3rd quarter.

I know that those guys are going to be on NFL rosters, but as a collective group, they're fairly soft in run blocking, and have been for years. USA's D-line whipped them a few times in the 2nd half as well, and caused Worley to freak out and throw terrible throws.

Regardless, it's who we played today and the run game performed well.

Ya well Tuny acted like a little female dog yesterday.. He needs to keep himself in check because he almost cost is the game. If that woulda happened you would have kicked me and about 100 posters off this board

Seriously. Five years ago there was no South Bama football team. Think about that. Rebuilding job? Please.

This is a freak in embarrassment. And an o-ineman bragging about this shows you the real problem. Tiny still has some Dooley in him.

Kudos to the real coach Jones.

Ain't gonna complain about the rushing this week. It was nice seeing some big runs popped off after about 5 years.

I have nothing against our Seniors or Juniors or any of our players that want to move on after this year. Most of these guys have been through several position coach changes over the years. Not only that but all of the losses. However, UT might be better off with new players recruited under Jones and his staff.
