Any Vols Coming out to California for the Cal Game?

Sorry guys, know ur not big on rap music, but that was the only video of that tuchdown I could find...

Yeah, poor Erick Beagun did not appreciate that vicious hit! Props to you guys though, taking him out early like that screwed us up, no doubt about that.

What year is Beagun?

Who is going to take over Hughes' CB spot? Thompson?
Because Meachem had him burnt from "the time he was born" according to Trooper Taylor.

What about Mebane and Bishop who steps in at DT and MLB?

I also remember DeSean having 1 catch for 45+ yards and then dissappearing for a half until the 2nd string was in. And Mr Hawkins got the drops everytime he went over the middle.

Yes and I am sure that is what they do every game. Make sure to mention this to your defensive coordinator, he will want to make sure he pays no attention to jackson and hawkins.

beagun was a senior and a non factor his 4 years. Thomson started at the other corner. Maybe peele takes hughes spots or decoud or hampton move over from safety. Decoud and hampton were very good when healthy last season. I expect the secondary to be very good next season. Thomson finished a freshman all american even after being schooled in your game. He also had a broken hand in the tenn game btw, that and it being his first game ever.

Dline is a question. DJ holt is a big time redshirt freshman, but not a lot of experience returns.

Linebacker is the deepest position on the team. Follet, williams, and felder should start. All 3 are pretty good. They have 3 good backups too.

I wish the same could have been told to your defensive coordinator about Meachem last year....

It was obviously a big mistake to put a guy with zero experience and a broken hand one on one with meachem. Frankly none of us understands what the hell greogory was thinking.

I got no worries on this one. It might not be as lopsided as last year(though we are alot more explosive on offense) but the result will be the same.

you are going to be more explosive without your top 3 receivers in the FIRST game of the season? You think these kids will come out of the gate and have their timing right with ainge? Practice is enough? 5 games in maybe, but the first game? Very unlikely IMO.

Kenny Oneal will be a junior first off. Briscoe, Lucas Taylor, Austin Rogers and Quinton Hancock will all be ready. And besides, who says we wont run the ball down your throat with one of our 3 running backs...

ME! I SAY IT! :furious3:

Still, if Cocker (sp) can get his act together, he coupled with Foster could spell trouble. No worries though, we are a tough bunch on the D. Sure we lost a lot of good players, (presumably to the NFL) but like Droski said, our Linebackers aint no joke...

Actually fellas I really didn’t. Your thinking is very short sighted; check the stats of the game. Marshawn had 75 yards on 12, count ughm, 12 carries. Wow, that is roughly an average of 6.25 yards a carry. Who got served now, huh?:dance2:

Well 6 yards a carry for only 12 carries for a "heisman canidate" against the 3rd/scout team defense in the 4th quarter dosen't count in my book.

I can't believe you guys are talking defense. :lolabove:

Not exactly man. Lynch's carries were against the 1st team; Cal got behind and had to throw.

On another note, the entire Cal team looked totally overwhealmed last September. They came here and we creamed them, this year we are going to show those Bay Area wimps how, again, we do it in the south. Cal's starting center will, again, get blown off the ball just about every play. Longshore will be, again, a scared little beyach with no production against a D that actually hits you in the mouth. Cal ain't on our level. You can say Cal didn't show up last year, or whatever, but I saw a Cal team out talented, not overwhealmed. Your team sucks. The west coast just cannot hang with the south.

The scoreboard and your defense was getting served until midway through the third. Lynch had a decent game against the second and third units in the second half. Forcett did nothing.
