Any Vols Coming out to California for the Cal Game?

Wow. You have slumped pretty low.

I am amazed that a Cal fan would enjoy watching another program beat Tennessee by 1 point, and who BTW are the National Champs. When on the same field, you got thumped by Tennessee. :birgits_giggle:

Now go on and put your obsession with Tennessee behind you and move on.

So sad. :cray:

Cal getting thumped by UT

And we could've easily won that game if Mapu didn't hit leak's helmet on Mitchell's INT.

That was one of the nicest things any Vol fan has ever said to me, :cray:

Do you live in New Mexico?
GA, about 15-20 minutes N of Atlanta

Like I said, some of us are civil and realistic. I'm still fanatical about my school's athletics, but I try to let the athletes that represent said institution do my "talking" for me.

that cal vs tenn video just got me so pumped up, and it it like the 50th time i have seen it. geeze i hate the offseason

Love that video also! It's getting our whole team pumped up! :banghead2:

Really though, shouldn't you be watching the Penn St. game? :dunno:

I totally agree. Sometimes we get too carried away in the cyber world. After all, it is the athletes who will achieve victory. The fans ultimately offer moral support and defense from unfounded attacks at the hands of competitors’ fans. I hope in September, (when our schools meet) Cal will not only do the talking, but also the walking. Good luck Vols but GO BEARS (if I may be so bold! That 16 yr old kid will probably petition to have me banned again because of that comment.)

I'm not quite sure how the PSU game is more relevant to this discussion about CAL vs. UT. Seems to me the 2006 game is the most relevant data that there is. Unfortunately for you, the most recent matchup was a very embarrassing shellacking of your squad. Bring up every loss in our history, but the laughable nature of that pounding will not diminish.

It's a sad day when someone argues that Arizona taking the field after beating them means their program has improved.

Can't argue with that, unfortunetly...

Shouldn't you be watching the Arizona game? Do they even bother recording Arizona games?

Here's to moral victories.

maybe stop mentioning the florida loss. . . just saying

and let me ask you something. Is there a single team in the SEC that would storm the field after beating Tenn? And I don't agree Cal would storm the field after beating Tenn, btw. Maybe if we won in overtime or something, but certainly not a regular victory.

Hello.

One of my Cal friends was nice enough to show me this site. You are all very friendly for the most part. Anyway, I promised myself that when I signed on and made an account for this forum, I would ask a question that has been bothering me for some time. You see, I am puzzled by your performance against Air Force. You should have slaughtered them and yet you nearly lost. What made that game so close?

I understand that a W is a W, and an L is an L, it still shouldn't have been that close though. Many have ventured a guess that the effects of playing a team like Cal may have caused some of this drop off. Does anyone care to explain what happened? GO BEARS!
