Any Vols Coming out to California for the Cal Game?

Hate is the only thing you know how to do.

Save your hippie man-love speech for someone else.

On a side note, can no Cal fan think of an original name and avatar? How many dang Oski's do we need? When's bear season start and where do I sign up?

It starts in September, in Berkeley at Memorial stadium. Only this time the hunter will be the hunted!:devilsmoke:

DeSean Jackson is the only weapon Cal has. Forsett is good, but has for the most part got to run at defenses that are worn out by chasing Lynch. Until Cal's D learns to tackle they will never be an elite team.

umm longshore, jordan, and hawkins are pretty good too. Montgomery (RS FR), Slocum (RS FR), Vereen (FR), and Best (FR) were all very highly recruiting RBs. And the only game last year where cal's D didn't tackle was your game.

Only 2 of the 5 TDs UT scored were from broken tackles.

Well, the only games of Cal's I saw were UT's and USC's and Longshore did not look very good. The receivers all developed a case of the drops here in Neyland. Cal's depth at TB is very good, but they are unproven commodities right now.

The USC game was one where the D came to play.

Why? Cal lost talent off of a D that could not tackle someone in an orange jersey and lost their main offense threat in Lynch

well i've kind of been through this all before but. . . yes we lost bishop, mebane, and hughes, but beyond those guys our d was very young. Overrall I expect the D to be improved over last season. And lynch is certianly a loss but I expect our run blocking to be MUCH improved (due to the talent and experience returning on the oline). I could be wrong, certainly, but I really do think this years team will be better than last years. And I expect tenn to be worse (at least in the FIRST game of the season).

Well you saw two of the worst games our offense played. Longshore was injured at the end of last season, so that might have been a factor. He was a monster in the bowl game and most of the rest of the season.
