No, but beyond tedford how many other coaches have turned 1-10 teams into perrenial top-25 teams? And because of the JC issue, the fact that stanford can't recruit 90% of all div 1-A players because of academic standards, and the fact that harbaugh's staff is the lowest paid in all of college football (meaning institutional support is minimal at best), it seems highly unlikely he could turn it around quickly. And lets not forget that Harbaugh was the coach of USD (a div 2 non-scholorship school). He was also arrested for a DUI with an underage girl in the car and is a known alcoholic/womanizer.
Actually, you probably haven't been paying attention... The Pac-10 as a whole has made major strides in football along with the arrival of Pete Carroll at USC. Not as good as the SEC has been, but nobody has been.
