I'll once again give the SEC all the credit in the world. Easily the best conference out there right now. But, much to your chagrin, I'm sure, it does not mean that college football ceases to exist anywhere in the country.Actually I've been paying attention. I watched an overrated Oregon team collapse last year. I watched an ASU team go from preseason top 15 pick to being a joke. I've watched Arizona go from a team on the rise to being stuck at 3-5 wins the past 2 years. I've seen a USC team dominate its conference. I've seen a UCLA team have a big win then immediately follow it with a letdown. I've seen a conference, on a yearly basis, play good O and terrible D.
Guys, I love the Pac-10 too. There's just no reasonable argument that the SEC isn't the best conference in football. I know stuff like this is usually subjective, but that is about as close to fact as an opinion can get.
That's why they're trolls. You can't take them too seriously.PAC 10 isn't representing themselves well right now, with idiots from the team we take the least seriously trolling our boards.
If LSU had been upset by both ASU and OSU over the last couple years, Cal beat Tennessee last year and Wazzu and Zona actually gave their SEC foes a game, Tennessee's game at Cal this season might be the basis for a legitimate argument that the Pac-10 is on the same level as the SEC.I agree the SEC is the best conference in the land. Still, the Pac is one vicious attack away from being number one. After we beat you, (as we are the only Pac team playing an SEC team this year) we will supplant you as the best.
If by real, you mean gay, then they won't stay.
The Dude isn't a regular around here - and he isn't indicative of most of us. I called you a name earlier today, only because I let my emotions take over. You'll find the regulars here to be open minded and respectful."-VolinArizona
What's CGVR?I'm literally laughing out loud at the notion that the PAC 10 will be better in 2007 than in 2006.
Oregon State had a +4 in CGVR, thus, they're record will drop substantially.
Washington lost just about everything from their 6-6 team.
Oregon will improve. Arizona will improve. Arizona State will improve. Stanford will not.
Washington State was +2 in CGVR, so there's a 67% chance they don't improve on their record.
Cal will be about the same, USC will win the National Title. UCLA will be about the same.
The Pac 10, top to bottom, will be the same or worse than last season.
