Still don't understand why it was fair to keep 1 loss Alabama ahead of TCU but can't keep 1 loss Tennessee ahead of them.

I'll be rooting for two UT's this weekend it looks like.

If the playoff committee wants to keep a straight face they won’t put TCU ahead of Tennessee.

Tennessee has the #2 SOS in the country and has the #2 SOR that’s WAY better than what Bama had when they had them ahead of TCU.

I suspect ten will be 4th.

Tennessee has by far the best loss in America. The committee will look at the Georgia vs Oregon game at a neutral site then look at UT on the road in that environment with our strength of schedule and only 27-13. It's not comparable. So I believe that automatically eliminates the Pac12 from contention because whether Oregon or USC win they just haven't won against anyone else substantial. Clemson is absolutely done. LSU is not getting in even with an SEC championship, we embarrassed them at home. I think we are a shoo in if TCU losses and we win out. Probably gonna be #1 Georgia, #2 Ohio state/Michigan, #3 Ohio state/Michigan/TCU(if they don't lose), #4 Tennessee.

It's possible if TCU losses and Oregon or USC win convincingly they get in at 3 or 4, but I still think if UT and Michigan and TCU are sitting there at 1 loss it's UT everytime.

I know everyone is reeling and disappointed but give it a week or two and do our part and we absolutely will be talked about again as one of the best teams in America. Just my opinion.

I think the committee has shown and understands that sometimes a top team can have an everything go wrong day, that was us yesterday (and Georgia is currently the best team in CFB), the committee showed this last year with Georgia. The Alabama and LSU victories are a major feather in our cap.

We also own the best road win in CFB this season now with that 40-13 smashing of top 8 LSU that's likely to win the west. I don't know of any road win in CFB that compares.

I mean there is no precedent for a 2 loss team going. Stating something as fact doesn’t make it so. I think LSU has played themselves out of a chance at a NC this year and in my opinion that’s good. For a team to be in the final four they shouldn’t lose 1 of every 6 played in the regular season. And they shouldn’t lose by 27 at home. And they honestly shouldn’t lose to an average fsu team.

So a team that beat a ranked OM, #6 Bama and #1 UGA in the SECCG ISNT going to the playoffs? Sorry but yes they are. By virtue of how difficult the SEC is, the SEC champ always gets in. Bad losses happen. The FSU loss was early when Kelly and his staff were new.

Do you think FSU would keep it within 21 ir 24 if they played LSU again? No. Do you think we roll them by 27 in their house again? No.

Then let’s just play four or six games each season. Apparently I wasn’t privy to losses in the first half not counting. Two loss LSU regardless of quality of wins or sec championship is not cracking the top four this year.

Lol. If LSU wins the SEC they are in. Why this is confusing is baffling.

They can’t just ignore LSU’s losses.

On the flip side “can” they ignore beating the number 1 team and winning the most dominant league in college football?

Over a first game loss by a missed extra point?

Seriously which carries more weight?

Tennessee beat bama and they beat LSU bad at their place. LSU would have one more loss than Tennessee and one of those losses is to Tennessee. That just seems too much to overlook.

Ok. But we are talking about LSU possibly winning the SEC as opposed to regular season game. Huge difference. If LSU were to be left out after winning the SEC, then essentially conference championships mean nothing.

Why you think that is a certain, likely, or even possible outcome this season is what’s baffling.

I’m not him but last night someone made the statement they hoped LSU or whoever beat Georgia in the championship game.

I and a couple others stated this could be bad for Tennessee. Tennessee needs Georgia to keep winning. Especially if it were LSU.

UGA should be a unanimous #1, what AP clown thinks OSU barely beating a 1-7 Northwestern is deserving of #1 vote?

Prolly someone who minored in meteorology and sucked at being a weather man

Holtz has Bama ahead of Tennessee and LSU on his current ballot.

No that’s seriously crazy.
