Arizona Election Audit

From The Hill:

Republican says 'embarrassing' Arizona recount 'makes us look like 'idiots'

A GOP state senator blasted the 2020 election vote audit in an Arizona county, saying "it makes us look like idiots."

"Looking back, I didn't think it would be this ridiculous. It's embarrassing to be a state senator at this point," Arizona state Sen. Paul Boyer, who previously supported the audit in Maricopa County, added on Friday, according to The New York Times.

Republicans in the Arizona state Senate advanced an audit of the 2020 election vote in Maricopa County last month, even after multiple audits since November found that the vote was counted accurately.

President Biden won Arizona's 11 electoral votes over former President Trump by a little less that 11,000 votes.

The defeat in Arizona surprised and enraged Trump, who has repeatedly argued fraud cost him his reelection despite a lack of evidence supporting the claim. Fox News was the first network to call Arizona for Biden on election night.

The election results were certified by state officials months ago, which effectively finalized President Biden's win in Arizona.

@VolinWayne .... Tell us more about how "things are about to get interesting in AZ".

Even the Republican members of the Arizona state legislature are calling this "ridiculous". LOL!

Q fell flat.

Comet Pizza was a bust.

Ya'll got to have SOMETHING to cling to, so this might as well be it, I suppose.
Republicans are the party of conspiracy theorists, Trump sycophants and extremist militants. They are the kooks who can't explain a consistent or coherent ideology involving policy. They simply support anything which has to do with Trump... which is bizarre, in the aftermath of his resounding defeat. They make up the uneducated, the unsophisticated, the unintelligent, the inarticulate and the unenlightened members of society. They represent the gullible, the willfully ignorant, the irrational, and the illogical.

Tell us how you really feel BB.

They won't what? Present their findings? If not, I'll be in your corner
Yeah, they wont present their work behind the findings. They will have a presser, make some vague references to stuff they didnt quiet find/prove, make an off hand comment about saving the republic if only they had more time/money/proof, and will wrap it up blaming the powers that be.

But they wont actually release what they found that made them suspicious, or made them think there is more if they had the time to prove.

And it will be used to justify the next audit and another bout of tears.

This is probably the most bigoted post on this forum.

I could probably find a more bigoted post in the last month if I gave a **** to do so. We could probably find one today, if we give a certain ******* enough time to build up his courage to start calling for the murder of folks he don't like.

This is probably the most bigoted post on this forum.
That post in no way demonstrates intolerance of a particular group. It simply demonstrates a lack of respect for, and an intense dislike of a particular group with reasons provided... and similar disdain for democrats and liberals is expressed on this forum on a reguar basis, also with reasons given.

Lol at you trying to validate your bigotry.

It isn't bigotry. A passionate dislike for a politically affiliated group of people is possible, without also being intolerant of them, or carrying out acts of prejudice against them.
a person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic toward a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.

You're a bigot.

Given that definition, it's going to be a long day if you're calling out all the bigots on here

Who decides what is reasonable or unreasonable? You? You don't come across as an objective arbiter. I do not consider my beliefs unreasonable based on my observations... and I have committed no acts of prejudicial discrimination or antagonism against Republicans. I simply don't like them. You will find many posts on VolNation expressing similar sentiments against Democrats. Are you going to refer to those posters as "bigots" as well? Doubtful. You are partisan.

You call me a partisan while still trying to justify the folllowing:
They make up the uneducated, the unsophisticated, the unintelligent, the inarticulate and the unenlightened members of society. They represent the gullible, the willfully ignorant, the irrational, and the illogical.

Gtfo Lmao

I freely admit that I am a partisan liberal Democrat... and while my characterization of today's Republican Party may be somewhat unfair and oversimplified, it doesn't rise to the level of bigotry.

You're a tad bit more than partisan, it's more of a religion to you than a political party.

Also reads as:
While I fit the definition of a bigot, I am not a bigot, in my opinion.

Just relax and stop thinking Republican voters are bad people with bad intentions.

Democrat voters aren't. Some individuals are, on both sides, but as a whole neither are malicious.
