I can definitely agree with that. Seems like the past Flash episode set up a change in his way of thinking, at least with Laurel. I'm watching this weeks episode right now, interested in seeing what happens with Thea.
Yeah, that was a decent crossover episode. Now that Oliver is gone though it's a little too late. I'll be interested in seeing how he gets back to Starling City. We may or may not get to see Oliver return before the season finale.
The title of the finale episode has me excited though.
"My Name Is Oliver Queen"

Lol easier said than done, as we've seen. It'd have to be someone he trusts....daughter maybe? She's been MIA lately, and is salty Ollie is getting the Throne.
Last season was better. The story arc this season with Ra's al Ghul has been weak and watered down. Worse than that, it's been plagiarized from the pages of Batman for the most part. I really hope they bounce back to better storytelling next season.
Weezer lives!
Where the heck have you been man, finally made bail or did Jerry decide to unchain you from his basement?![]()
I've been about. I'll occasionally check in to see what's being said, but for the most part, other things keep me busy.
Jerry knows better than to try and chain me up. He may live in KY, but we're not that kind of family. Little bro keeps his tricks in the basement.
The whole concept of Ra's al Ghul originated in the pages of Batman. Ras wanted Bruce Wayne to be his heir. Bruce Wayne even has a son with Talia al Ghul. All they've done is taken a Batman villain and his motivations and shifted them to Ollie.
I knew all of that and never ever realized it until you said something lol. I guess it's just been a while since I thought about that, I knew it seemed familiar.
Btw, it's nice to see somebody in here who knows their stuff besides me and Coug lol.
Post more!
You give me more credit than I deserve. I just watch the shows and leave comments. Weezer and a handful of others actually read the comics at some point. I'm like 3/4 nerd and they're full on.![]()
I like Arrow, and I don't mind that they've strayed quite a bit from the comic Green Arrow, which they have. I don't even mind that they're mining some of the villains from other superheroes' rogues galleries(Green Arrow isn't known for having the greatest villains). I just don't like how they've taken the whole Ra's al Ghul concept and basically just dumped it on Ollie without getting super creative with it. They've changed very little to the concept, which shows a lack of creativity on their part. There have been lots of tweaks they could have made to the story along the way, they just didn't make them. What they did with Deathstroke last season was great. Deathstroke and Green Arrow have fought in the comics before, but Deathstroke was originally a villain in the pages of the New Teen Titans. They did an excellent job of co-opting another villain and making him fit the Arrow narrative. I just don't feel they've lived up to that this season.
And it's a damn shame that DC has decided to keep their TV universe and their movie universe separate, becasue they could do some awesome things if they let thiem exist all together.
