Going against the usual approach in your case was not even reading the report? At least from previous posts you made I have to assume you did not.
And if losing a multi million dollar job doesn't help to deter the next guy, then the next guy has to be a blithering idiot.
I'm with you on the state of the judicial system and how much public opinion seems to play a part, but if you even read half the report I don't see how you could possibly still feel bad for poor Art Briles.
Actually, I had no knowledge of him contacting and intimidating victims, I merely assumed Baylor fired him because three players in his charge were convicted, and they were trying to save face for a civil suit. Going against the usual approach is demanding proof before condemning alleged acts. Shame on me.
I don't jump on bandwagons and call for a coach's head because some of his players do stupid stuff. And just because he is accused of intimidating victims, which is beyond stupid, doesn't mean I buy it until it is proven.
Has losing multi-million dollar jobs put a stop to this kind on nonsense? By my estimation, not yet. But when Sandusky got put behind bars, I guarantee you any pedophile coaches out there took notice.
Any if someone does a crime, I am old school in thinking they do time, not lose an income they can eventually replace. And anyone who doesn't like it, DILLIGAF?
