As conservatives, do you personally dislike someone for being liberal?

My other pet peeve is people that think The Daily Show is thoughtful analysis and just "telling it like it is"...

And people who think Fox News is a 100% truthful news station?

*I'm not implying that CNN or MSNBC are always truthful.

If I don't put it there then someone's bound to bring it up. Fact is, Fox News is the least truthful of the bunch.

Network news and talk radio both are just like the politicians. They will spin it any way they want to, as to get the desired effect.

I don't deny the slant of Fox but hard to see them as worse than MSNBC; particularly for standard news reporting (not the opinion shows they offer).

Fox is the lesser of the evils. There. I said it. But I do know two producers at Fox, and they're truly good dudes.

Beck is terrible. And the douche buckets on the morning show are charlatans. O'Reilly, Hannity and Shep; I'd have a beer with them.

I'd limit your list to Shep but add the chick that used to be the financial reporter but now is on from 10-noon central. And Megan.

The morning crew is intolerable. Fortunately, I sleep late.

It is rare that I pick up a book and don't finish it. Bill O'Reilly's autobiography was so arrogant and self-aggrandizing that I could hardly make it through the first two chapters. No way in hell would I sit down to a beer with that louse.

On-air or off-air O'Reilly? I've heard he's a real nice guy off-air, but he's certainly a douchmeister on-air.

I've never met him, but my boy from college is a sometimes producer on his show. Says he is the least-maintenance to deal with of all the hosts. Beck is what you think he is and worse. Megalomaniac.

With O'Reilly's and Hannity's egos present, you wouldn't be able to fit in the room to imbibe with them. The same could be said for many talk show hosts regardless of politics. Beck is not stable IMO.

The problem with people and politics this day and age, is that they have followed their political icons for years and never developed an original thought of their own. Common sense is also not a strong suit of most of their followers either.

David Silverman, the head of American Atheists, interviewed twice on O'Reilly's show. The first time he didn't have any time on commercial break to talk to him off-camera, but the second time he did. He said that O'Reilly is a real nice guy off-camera and engages in good, meaningful discussion, not so much when the light came on. He said the entire point of O'Reilly is to not let the other person say anything.

See. I just think O is just playing the part. I've thought that all along about him. Like Colbert. Beck is truly unhinged.

Which is why TV and radio personalities truly fail on getting a balanced point across. They think because their name is on the show, that they need to dictate things. Just another problem with America today.
