She wasn't murdered she was just stupid. She got caught up in the mob mentality and it cost her. Those weren't regular cops in a regular circumstance.FIFY
I mean, you can peruse the Cop thread and see instance upon instance about how the police could have/should have used lesser means of force against suspects. It changes in this instance?
your missing my point. It isn't justified because they are lawmakers, It is justified because he was protecting people from a mob.
Do you care to explain your race baiting?

- She wasn't the threat until she decided to Leroy Jenkins thru the windowThey were Capitol Hill Police, not Secret Service, so, yes, they are for all intents and purposes regular cops.
And without rehashing everything in that argument, exactly what threat did she pose especially given there was a fully loaded tactical team almost right behind her?
If you as an ordinary citizen were to shoot someone in the head that was only halfway in your house, you'd better believe there would be a trial or a grand jury hearing as a minimum. In the end, you might be acquitted under castle laws, but there certainly would be an overeager DA out to get your ass. Instead, we allow this "King's Guard" behavior to kill wantonly because of a "perceived threat" since obviously some animals are more equal than others.
At a minimum, it should have gone to a trial or a grand jury hearing.
That was unknown but she was one door away from members of Congress. Someone making the choice to breach a barricaded door could rightfully be seen as a threat given the activities taking place all aroundShe wasn't a threat after she Leroy Jenkins the window either...
What threat did she pose exactly?
Ok then remove the fact they are lawmakers in the capitol (which is actually really relevant but whatever)
They were people being protected by officers behind a barricaded door. She attempted to breach that thru a broken out window and was shot.

They do that every day already
I'm not privy to their discussions. I just go off the facts I have on hand. Honestly this really didn't affect me as much as it seems to affect you. I just see stupid prizes being wonOf course they do. They also get grand jury hearings in cases where there is a perception excessive force was used.
Explain that one to me. Why was the officer's testimony sealed? "National Security?" Why was there only an internal investigation? I mean, I get it was the worst attack on America since Pearl Harbor or 9-11 and the bloodiest battle since the Civil War, but, again, as a minimum there should have been a grand jury hearing and a public one at that.
And do you really, really, really trust the DOJ to do an impartial investigation especially after everything that's come to light regarding that agency in the last four years?

Yep that's exactly what I said. So cleverProbably should affect you...
I understand you're perfectly okay with LEOs killing folks as long as they are Trump supporters though.
I've said this before... I doubt we'd be having this discussion if Babbit was an unarmed antifa rioter climbing through the window of the oval office while President Trump was sheltering in the room. That was unknown but she was one door away from members of Congress. Someone making the choice to breach a barricaded door could rightfully be seen as a threat given the activities taking place all around
I disagree. Public officials trapped in a room in a breached building that was supposed to be secured, with somebody at the head of an angry mob breaching the room is pretty much the same no matter which building you're in.
