Braves are flat out snakebit. They fall behind on a seeing eye single after getting robbed on potential game winning hits two innings in a row.

It's not over. I don't think panic mode is there yet.

But it's getting close.

I would also like to see Jason move up in the lineup. He had three walks last night, and while his swing is still a lil screwed up, I think he's back in terms of pitch recognition.

Perhaps. There were at-bats on the road swing though where he appeared to not even see some of the pitches. Much like the issue that mac had a few years ago.

Fredi doesn't care about walks. You know that. He probably thinks Heyward had a bad night last night because he wasn't aggressive enough.

I know. Remember when Bobby put Jason 2nd realizing that he had great on base skills? Yeah, I miss that.

Word is that the clubhouse was closed this afternoon for the obligatory " player's only meeting" slump buster.

Big week for the boy. First Vol game Saturday, first Braves game tonight. Can't say I like my odds of making it the whole game.

Toughen him up now. I stayed up till 2 watching the Raiders-Broncos game. It'll be better in the long run for him :)

He's still pretty worn out from the Knoxville trip, plus it's a school night. He's hanging in pretty well so far though.

Never ceases to amaze me how crappy the beer still is at the ballpark. I'm in the friggin club level and it still might as well be 1985 in here. Bud, Miller Lite, Heineken. Yuck.
