AU-Freeze, will it happen?

If he goes to Auburn, it will be the school that takes him down.
Auburn will find a way to cheat even with NIL in play.
Kiffin will burn with them. It will be a death sentence for him because it is the Auburn way.

Y’all were talking about Barkley and coach Prime a few pages back. I heard Barkley on the radio today saying that Leach at Miss St. was going to be fired this weekend and Prime was going to replace him. Guess we’ll see.

Some of y'all might know history on this but has Bama ever hired a head coach that previously was head coach at Auburn and vice versa?

I would think that Kiffin probably dreams of going to Bama at some point but having an Auburn head coach stint on his resume might be a red flag in Tuscaloosa. The same goes for Dabo.

What do y'all think?

You have a point.

Personally, I think Lane is torn a bit. He knows if he takes Auburn, then Alabama is out. But who knows if he would get the Alabama job eventually anyway.

Wouldn't that be a plus? Seems like a good thing to take your rival's coach, idk.

Had Saban or Smart somehow gotten the boot, would TN consider hiring either of them? On the one hand, great coaches; on the other hand, ewwww!

I have a hard time seeing Bama accept Jordan or Dye or Bowden with open arms in Tuscaloosa.

I think Johnny Majors might've struck a match to Neyland if we'd thought of hiring Bear after him.

I know everyone is bummed over the recent loss, so thought I would change the pace to discuss our pal, Lane Kiffin, Ole Miss, and Auburn. It leaked out that Kiffin was “Auburn bound” after the Egg Bowl Vs my daughter’s school, MS State (and no, my daughter couldn’t care less about sports). Good ole Lane was confronted about the Auburn news and wasn’t too happy about it. Did Lane tell a fib and actually Auburn bound, or does he stay at Ole Miss? It’s nice that TN has a quality coach and I hope Heup continues to be successful as it’s been a fun ride!

Lane Kiffin is apparently staying put at Ole Miss.
Or so he says. The Mississippi football coach responded to a report from local north Mississippi TV reporter Jon Sokoloff on Monday that he's planning to leave the university on Friday to take the head coaching job at Auburn. The report also stated that Auburn hasn't offered the job to anybody.
Per Kiffin: "That's news to me Jon."

Edit- I am not a Kififn fan. Again, just a topic of conversation as he is about to tick off Ole Miss fans if he lied and leaves for Auburn.

For the first time ever you saw it here first. Just look back. I even stated the contract.
