You must have extremely low standards for offensive lineman if the four UT had last year are considered "quality".NOOO. CLK and his staff provide more opportunity for the future... if they get to have a future. Clawson and his guys had 4 quality OL's lined up. They needed all 4. I didn't panic when Foster left. But Phillips is huge to this class and CLK's future.
I'm not sure about this whole thing with Phillips. Unless it is personal, why wouldn't he go ahead and de-commit if he were going to? The fact that doesn't make sense is what I'm hanging on to with him.
Maybe there's an argument in his home between him and the step-dad?[/QUOTE]
That is exactly what I think.
Olive Branch, Miss., offensive lineman Aubrey Phillips (6-6, 322 5.1) appears to be down to Arkansas and Florida State for his college decision.
Florida State Coach Bobby Bowden was at Olive Branch high school for four hours on Thursday while Arkansas sent assistant coaches Mike Summers and Reggie Johnson to visit with Phillips in the afternoon.
Phillips will likely choose between the Razorbacks and Seminoles on signing day.
Why can nobody figure out exactly what is up with this kid?
"I'm still committed, but that will change on NSD." I know these kids are teenagers, but come on dude.
