at this point what choice does he have? bench his star qb? claiming ignorance is his best option. expect the words "I truly beleived that at that time" to come out of his mouth and then some garbage about being hurt by cam lying to him.

Benching him isn't an option.

Just think he would've been better off saying "Unfortunately, we can't comment on it...but, Cam's eligible and we're confident he'll continue to be."

Just think the "very loud and very clear" "period, end of story" stuff is awfully adamant, considering the smoke.

Actually bumped into El V the other day. Was surprised and quite flattered that he recognized me, and was kind enough to spend a few minutes chatting. He shared some very juicy info on that situation, and I'll just leave it at that.

understood, but they've been aware of the investigation for a while now so i suppose he must know enough to know if his arse is covered or not.

I've heard the same rumblings, no insider info or anything just from a couple AU alums I play golf with. They think if Gus is offered a HC job somewhere Chizick will be toast and Gus will be offered the HC position.
