I don't have hate for Auburn but I'd just a soon them not have a recent national championship. The Vols are going head to head with them for some prospects. That's all the reason I need.

I agree with the prior posters. I know several huge AU fans including at least one guy who'd be considered a significant booster. They all have a complex over the two undefeated seasons that did not result in a national title. If their AD told Chizik to bench Cam and AU loses a game the AD would be gone tomorrow. Same goes for Chizick if he made the decision not to play Newton. Their fans see the light at the end of the tunnel and they are not going to allow NCAA rules to get between them and the brass ring. AU is a cheating school. 7 major violations don't lie.

BTW Oregon would demolish AU. That might be fun to watch.

Not saying Meyer is the one. Hence the link of him denying it. As you point out, there are multiple people with access to that info. Don' know much about Mullen's personality, but Meyer is as greasy as they come. Like I said earlier, we'll likely never know.

I find your comments interesting considering Fulmer was a known snitch, and your last head coach (and recruiting coordinator) was 100x greasier than Meyer will ever be.

This whole ordeal is like the JFK assassination....too many people had a vested interest to ever know what really happened.

Oregon would NOT demolish Auburn.. It would be a good game. I think the defenses of both are weak and it might be a basketball score though. Au has just as good an offense as Oregon when you look at the overall competition played as well.

A convenient thing to keep telling yourself. All you need to ask is who has the most to gain, out of satisfaction and competition, from all of this being brought up? That is pretty easy to answer.

Bottom line is I hope lawyers get involved heavily on the Florida end on this latest story about his grades. Seeing as how it is against the law to release information like that, I think someone needs to be held accountable. And if it ends up being Joe Shmo working in records at UF, then this will be one of the most pathetic turn of events I have ever seen.

Until it is 100% proven, we will all be going off of our gut on this. I am inclined to be on the side of Cam Newton, especially after this political race type of smear campaign has taken off.

Meyer has nothing to gain, other than being personally vindictive. Ratting out Cam doesn't help UF win games, and it certain won't help with recruits.

On top of that, the timing couldn't be worse, considering UF is one victory away from potentially playing AU for the SEC title. Why would Urban knowingly take a bat to the proverbial beehive to piss AU off? Then there's that federal law prohibiting the unauthorized disclosure of a students' educational records.

Coming off a couple national titles in the past 5 years you'd think UM would have bigger fish to fry. I honestly don't know if UM leaked the information or not. But clearly you guys know better.

I don't know hating, AU has squeaked out two not counting LSU taking them into the 4th. Oregon probably has not even shown us thier 5th gear yet.

Because Fulmer was a known snitch, and at the time most UT fans loved that he ratted out Bama.

But Meyer is scum because he "could have" ratted out Newton, despite federal law standing in his way as a deterrent.

The PAC10 is definitely better than the SEC East this year. Average everything out and Oregon and Stanford probably deserve their rankings.
