Honestly, that first set from Hantuchova was unbelievable. She was hitting rockets from both sides and gave Ivanovic absolutely no shot. It was as impressive of a set as I've seen.
I don't think there's very much debate about the fact that Hantuchova is a complete mental midget.I hadn't seen a women put on such a display of power as Hantuchova did in the first set in a long long time, if ever. Her shots were low, flat and blazing. It was all Ivanovic could do to get it across the net and hope somehow Hantuchova whiffed at the ball. Then things turned dramatically.
I don't think there's very much debate about the fact that Hantuchova is a complete mental midget.
As an aside, did you hear Carillo talking about how Hantuchova was the next Kournikova and just wouldn't stop.
i missed that. I'm pulling for Hantuchova to have a good showing this year after last night. I'm hoping she can finally rebound from that weird divorce from parents thing and just focus on tennis. I didn't know until last night that Angel Jimenez was working as her coach. She's a very gifted woman, I think she speaks six languages and she's a classical pianist.
However, she'll quickly lose my interest if she keeps up this idea of accusing Ivanovic for bad gamesmanship over the whole squeaky shoe thing.
