Well, if you played on July 12, 1953 you experienced 112 degree heat. Otherwise, you were nowhere near close to what Novak went through the other day. You play in weather that extreme and pushing yourself to the limit is likely to result in death.
lol: Yep. July 12, 1953. I can remember it like it was yesterday. In all seriousness though, Brunswick GA in the middle of August can bring the heat index over 120. I'm being completely honest, I've been in some pretty brutal heat. I don't know how else to put it. Maybe not 142 degrees, but the only reason that it was so hot was the arena they were playing in.
So what your saying is that Novak was playing in real time temps 10-25 degrees hotter than your heat index?

It was, but the fish bowl stadium increaseed the heat dramatically.

I woke up this morning and turned on the Roddick match and heard Roddick drop the f bomb. I really wanted him to win. Do you think this guy will ever win another Grand Slam?
He doesn't have the game for the top of leaderboard. My opinion, he never really did...
'03 and being 'the next American' have bought him a lot more love than he deserved.
I'm not against a clearly very talented Roddick. But I never beieved he was the next big thing.
