Sorry it wasn’t clear. I mean Peter, Ned, Flash, Michele, etc need to mention how other kids from their class aged without them. Otherwise it looks like the whole high school got snapped.

It’s not completely unreasonable that Peter’s whole supporting cast got snapped. I mean all the Guardians save save Rocket did. But it felt weird in the moment knowing there is a SM movie in just a couple of months.

I saw Peter and his buddy in this movie. Don’t remember which other ancillary characters were in the latest Spider-Man trailer. If all of them got snapped, I wouldn’t think we’d need to suspend any disbelief that we haven’t already. 😉

Watched last night , was awesome. When they split up to search for the stones. I thought, whoever is going for soul stone, one is gonna die. When I saw it was BW and Hawkeye searching for it.. i knew BW was a goner.. would make zero sense for Hawkeye to sacrifice, because he had a family and BW didnt have a family. When cap wielded the hammer, such a bad ass moment .

From a sheer abilities standpoint, the females are every bit the equal of the males in these movies. They don’t need a statement. To that point as well, I wasn’t a fan of Pepper suddenly being a hero.

Also, side note: I didn’t like what they did with Thor at all. I get the bearded drunken loser thing, that totally works actually, but fat? That was kind of dumb to me.

All that being said, IW still sits at the top of the marvel list for me, but this one was absolutely splendid.

I actually did not mind Pepper being in the battle as a hero. She had done similar in Iron Man 3, though i forget the details on her getting super charged.
Also, Thor is now Luke Skywalker.... Almost thought he would "fade into the force" at the end as well.

Zendeya and Flash were in the trailer too. They must have been snapped.

It’s a nit picky thing but it took me out of it for a moment.

At this point it's unclear what heroes will anchor the next phase of the MCU-although we do know that Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, and the Guardians are likely to be involved somehow.

Whaaaaaat?!? Chris Evans is just as much Steve Rogers and RDJ was Iron Man.

And I was skeptical when I first heard he was cast because I associated him with the terrible FF movies. He won me over fast though.

Iron man is 1 but Cap is my 1a. Iron man because I like RDJ. Caps sequels were also avenger sequels if you think about it. Iron man had 3 solos and 2 were when marvel was learning how to build their story telling.

Winter Soldier was certainly not an Avengers sequel. Civil War maybe so but central focus of the movie was still on Cap.

It was such a great movie. Some most exciting moments that I've experienced during a movie. When Cap picked up Thor's hammer the entire theater exploded. Hearing people openly sobbing during a comic movie just tells of the emotional investment people have with these characters.

Also, I hope the Black Widow movie covers Budapest, which I personally think it will, it would be a great way to close out her chapter.

I heard someone sobbing over Iron Man (and Groot in IW). As a long time comic book reader I’m a little cynical of deaths. I found it to be a touching moment but I know they will eventually recast and Tony will be back in the movies. Cap too. Therefore it’s hard for me to let my emotions get too carried away.

As Luke Skywalker said “No one is ever really gone”.

There was a lot of cheering when I went. The hammer scene, Spiderman showing up, and when Tony got the stones. Seems like there was another big cheer, but I can't remember over what.

Saw the movie finally, here to discuss all the things.

1. Why no funeral for Black Widow WTF???
2. Ugh...was not a fan of the Captain Marvel at all, and I went in with no illness towards the character.

They took a min to mourn BW but I think having 2 funerals to end the movie would have taken some away from RDJ’s send off when he was essentially the heart and soul of the MCU as a whole. I would just assume there was a funeral for her off camera.

What didn’t you like about CM? She was barely in it and kicked a good bit of ass when she was.

The producers of the movie opined it was because Tony was a huge public figure while she navigated the shadows...and that the fellow Avengers had thrown her a ceremony.
