Had a coworker who used to go to vegas every year for the world series. I never thought i had the memory the count cards that high to get into. he loves it though.
Those are tough handswelll I wont be going to Vegas
had two hands that basically took me out
trip Kings with a 6 kicker and the other player had trip kings and a queen kicker
then the hand that took me out was, i had pocket kings
2, 5, 7 flopped
so I went all in
the second player had pocket 7's, so he took me out with Trip 7's
he ended up winning the total tournament, he's also the Vandy grad
Yeah, that is a tough sell to a new boss.yep..
I'm over it now...I would really have liked to win, and go to Vegas, but it's probably better given the timing of my relo from Il, and move to NWA..
I will just be starting a new job, and would go in a month laser and take a week off to go to Vegas to play in the WSOP..
Ugh! Playing online last night and this total douche got lucky against me. Pocket AA, raised the pot pre-flop. Two callers. Flop comes 10,2,6, I put in enough to put one of the two all-in. One folds, the other calls with pocket 55? Guess what lands on the turn. Yep, a 5!!! I'm sure everyone has stories like this, but what the hell was that idiot calling for? He couldn't have really thought his 5's were good. I'm not bluffing off that many chips and the only thing he could have thought was that I had a pair of 2's, 3's or 4's. Not likely.
LOL
In an online tourney. Just made the final table on a great hand.
I'm on the button with QQ and the pot is raised to me. There's a caller in between and then I reraise. First guy pushes all in and the caller and I both call.
At this point, I'm 2nd in chips, and the other guy that pushed first is chip leader. I don't even recall what the third guy had, but he was about 1/3 our stack.
So back to the hand, when we all turn over, I'm at QQ, and they're both at JJ. Haha, they basically had zero outs.
The crap that happens in online poker is unbelievable. Things that you never see in live poker.
