the message is clear - the government will take care of your kids so you don't have to.

It's sort of the governments fault also. Welfare was supposed to be a temporary bandaid. They could have fixed the problem back in the 70's and didn't. We know have generations living in the same housing projects and poor neighborhoods repeating the same behavior.

Except they're not out looting and burning the city down when billy bob gets roughed up by the cops because he continually breaks the law then subsequently dies. If they did the authorities wouldn't be nearly as tolerant and more billy bobs would be put to rest and oh well.

Unfortunately when you're brainwashed by the liberal agenda of the haves and have nots and us vs them this is what you get. Until people in the black community stop group thinking and start thinking for themselves these issues will pop up. I don't blame the white man to justify burning down my own city. I will never justify destroying your own community with drugs and violence etc. At point we have to take responsibility for what we are allowing to happen in our own communities.

I don't think the whole free stuff argument is the issue. There are those that do need help it's the dependency by those who have become complacent and won't get off their azz and work. Obama ran on the premise that he was going to change things and make things better and snowed the black community. People really believed he was going to make things better jobs, economy etc. instead he passes Obamacare and makes people even more complacent. And we have to pay for it. I never trusted him.
