Again, read the Moynahan Report from the mid-1960's and holler back at me. Daniel Patrick Moynahan talked about the exact samething I'm talking about 50 years ago. Now we are 2 and a half generations further entrenched with the black community being a matriarchial lead household, rampant poverty, and widespread govt dependence.

Save me with the sanctimonious outrage ("the most pathetic thing I've seen here"). I'm giving you a far different perspective than what the mainstream has been feeding us. The mainstream assumptions are dead wrong, so their resolutions to the problems will be dead wrong (which is why we are still talking about the problems in the black community 50 years later).

I've been saying that for years on here. "thug" and "punk" get thrown around like rice at a wedding. Some people throw around the word "punk" and have know idea that among different demographic groups, "punk" has a distinct meaning.

The the Maryland State Attorney should be having a press conference shortly and from what I'm hearing police and National Guard presence is increasing ahead of it.

Here a woman reels in her son and gets him out of the maelstrom and you can't appreciate that she's doing exactly what you have complained there isn't enough of -- discipline her son. Sorry it isn't going to bed early on pizza night. The woman is at least trying to do what she can in her circumstances to change the pattern.

She's admitted that this was not the first time she's beat him like this. She's a single mother of 6 children. I bet you they are not all from the same husband. She chooses to raise these 6 children in Baltimore, notorious for being one of the worst ghettos in the country. You've had multiple bad decisions made in the past by this woman, but now we want to call her a hero because she does something that would normally get her arrested.

This women exemplifies the problem, not a solution.

Raising a successful, productive human being requires 2 parents. There is no getting around that. You show me one case where a single mom has raised a successful family and you are likely to see 4 more that could not do it.
