I agree ending the war on drugs won't solve all their problems, but I do think it will make a big difference, and it's the easiest fix. Scaling back the war on drugs is fairly easy to do, politically speaking. Welfare reform seems like an impossible ideal.

Democrats have run that city and every other big inner city into the ground.Just like Detroit the corrupt politicians who these poor people voted for have once again let them down, the statistics prove this to be fact, Nixon has got nothing to do with the mismanagement of Baltimore..There hasn't been a republican mayor since the early sixties.. They reap what they have sown.

It'll keep more of them out of jail to help further ruin their community. Welfare reform is impossible and pandering drug use and distribution is the key.

K, but repeating this over and over doesn't do anything. Do you want change or do you just get off on falsely putting all the blame on your political opponents?

The Ds have definitely screwed the pooch in Baltimore, but Nancy Reagan's war on drugs turned it into a DP party.

So you want to take away their right to vote, keep providing them food, housing, money, and let them do and slang drugs all they want?

Glad to see you agree, lots of functioning alcoholics and stoners who work and manage to raise a family, the plight of the inner city black man goes well beyond the war on drugs..

I know when it started. 12 years of a Republican in the oval office, and they grew it to 10x the size it was under Carter...it became Reagan and Bush's baby.

I'd say 99.9% of blacks and dead people in Baltimore voted for change, and it's getting worse, not better.

The people of Baltimore keep electing these people, so who would you blame? The people or elected officials.

Kinda ironic they "voted for change" and since "Change" has been in office their overall lives have gotten worse.

What is your point other than to detract from mine? I didn't say the war on drugs started with Nancy. I didn't say Nancy held office. If I called it "your war on drugs" I would not be implying you held office, I would be implying you supported the cause and furthered it.

So what is this about the graph now? More time-wasting?
