There’s a but of a difference between someone who says he won’t benefit personally laundering money through a shell company to buy boats and houses vs. a PAC paying disclosed fees to political consultants to conduct focus group research and produce campaign propaganda.

There’s probably some grift involved in both, and there’s probably some legitimate progress from both. Whether it’s legal seems like it’s tied to the expectations of the people giving the money.

And then add the revelations this morning of the ex Homeland Security advisor that Trump has trouble focusing in meetings, won’t read written memos and goes off on crazy tangents when there is a crisis/issue, one has to wonder how this government is functioning. The DHS guy said Trump likes pictures though so some of them discussed coming up with a system of drawings to explain things to him. You know sort of like the kid’s books with Dick and Jane.
