UK is loaded going into the 2013 class. They'll be fine, not terribly worried.
That said, those who say "Cal Cheats," if he cheats, why did he miss out on the big recruits over the last few weeks?
Who do they have committed for 2013?
I count 1, a 4* #91 overall player in the country, in Derek Willis. Am I missing something?
If you know anything about recruiting, which you claim you do, then you should see the writing on the wall concerning how things are lining up for the 13' class.
Also, it's weird with Willis. Rivals has him at 26, Scout has him at 91. I normally lean more toward Scout for hoops and Rivals for football, but still that is an extremely large discrepancy.
That being said, he will still end up an afterthought in this class, I believe.

Very true they're in on a number of highly rated guys, but the OP was making it sound as if the class already had some high level committs. Lots can happen that can change the landscape of recruiting, and can happen fast.
I'm sure calipari will have another good class, but as I touched on earlier he needs to look at things a bit differently. Say r losses hood, Wiltjer, harrow, Noel, poythress and goodwin( don't say it's not possible, it is) then you're right back at square one. Bringing in all freshman with no proven upperclassmen on the team. And when trying to fill out a roster, like he's doing now, you'll have a hard time convincing those second tier guys to come to yor school. Calipari is arguably the best recruiter, I'm sure he'll get it don't, but I don't count a recruiting class as "in the bag" until it actually happens.
A month ago UK fans swore they were gonna get ATLEAST one of Jefferson, oriakhi and Bennett yet missed on all 3. You just never know with the recruitment of 17 year old kids.
The only reason we won it last ear was because lamb, jones decided to stay. We also had miller. I don't see people staying next year... Maybe the year after. It's crazy hard to win the title with all these freshmen.
Birch, Bennett, and now Smith...Roscoe Smith, a freshman starter of UCONNs natl champ team, just transferred to UNLV... WHAT is going on out there in the desert?!? I wanna be on those recruiting trips. no, seriously, take my money, I wanna go.

Damontre Harris committed to Florida today. Great pickup. :good!:
I know that about Harris, but I thought Smith would be eligible to play next year due to UConn's postseason ban. Both smith and Harris will be sitting out a year. I'm sure smith will try for a waiver, but very unlikely hell get it. If he were eligible immediately though UNLV would have a very impressive roster, and 2012 class.

I agree with the 6. I'd say Florida, UK, Tennessee, Missouri, Alabama, and one of either Arkansas or Ole Miss. Then I think Georgia and Vandy will be low-level NIT teams.A nice pickup for grant, they definitely should be competing for a first round bye. From a quick glance I'm thinking the SEC gets in 6 teams, that'd be a nice change from years past.

Eh he's a good coach. Their backcourt should be impressive athletically with Johnson and Parker. Their frontcourt doesn't appear to be too strong, but I just can't imagine Stallings letting the program fall too far back. Those were the teams I was thinking of as well, in no particular order.
If stallings gets vandy to a NIT though I'll be impressed.
