best deal on a quality 50-55 inch television?

My experience is that Samsung makes great phones, earbuds, and TVs, and s***** appliances.
I agree with this. I love my Samsung TVs but we bought a "high dollar" Samsung fridge and it lasted about 4 years. The inside back panel constantly froze up, I'd tear it down and defrost it with a hair dryer, (at the end) it'd freeze up every 2-3 days. I bought the parts to fix it but it didn't help. It finally went totally out and flooded the lower compartments and we lost a lot of cheese and meat. Samsung customer service didn't care to help, so I scrapped the fridge. We replaced it a couple of years ago with a much cheaper Whirlpool (water dispenser on the inside/freezer in the bottom) and it's been pretty good so far.

We bought a front load Samsung washer and dryer a few years ago too. The dryer was great but the rubber seal on the washer door would eat up clothing. It final caught a pair of my work jeans and it ripped the rubber seal apart, leaving a mess on the floor. We bought a LG top load washer/dryer 4 years ago but I've had trouble with it leaking and I just replaced the bleach compartment.

No more Samsung/LG appliances for me.

What refridgerator do you have?
4 door.

The ice maker has been replaced, repaired, and is completely broken and frozen up again, now pushing the refrigerator walls. No warranty on the replacement. It's like $500 to replace it again. It also had a leak in the back that required service.

Total POS.

This is why they'll have to pry my old appliances out of my cold dead hands.

Yeah, we have a Samsung side by side. The pump for the water dispenser went out at about 1 year. It ran water, and I was able to catch the water in a garden hose, and run it outside until a repairman got there.
Refridgerators used to last 30 years. I think most appliances are built to last about 7 years these days. Profit is the motive.
