Best Whiskey

Came home from work to this terrible sight. A full handle of Dickel exploded. Glass shards were embedded in the door of the cabinet! Whiskey has seeped through my hardwood floors and was pooling in my basement. WTF!

I think i figured it out. I was consolidating 2 partially empty bottles into 1 and filled it to the top. Went to work... Temp changed in my house and boom. I guess that's why alcohol is used in thermometers??

Ah found this wee gem ...

Whisky or Whiskey

A Scotsman who spells
Whisky with a n ‘e’,
should be hand cuffed
and thrown head first in the Dee,

In the USA and Ireland,
it’s spelt with an ‘e’
but in Scotland
it’s real ‘Whisky’.

So if you see Whisky
and it has an ‘e’,
only take it,
if you get it for free!

For the name is not the same
and it never will be,
a dram is only a real dram,
from a bottle of ‘Scotch Whisky’.

Entry-level Scotch? I got some Glenfiddich 12-yr for about $33. Not bad tasting, I think.

But I will probably go back to Dickel 12 or Buff Trace or JB Rye.

Glen is good Scotch. I usually go with Johnny Walker black for Scotch or blue label if you have to money to spend on it.

Makers mark has never let me down as a Bourbon. Plus they do special edition tennessee wax colors. Always a plus.

I only drink it a few times a year so i haven't tried many. This was on my lady so I'll have to check it or sometime. Thanks man!
