The thing about the Rpture is every generation thinks it will happen in their time... but it has to happen sometime doesn't I saw a tv special where it showed things in Revelation that has happened leading up to iy. It was interesting, wish I could remember more about it.

27 is correct OE. However, i thiknk you are correct that they can't actually be the ghost or spirit of our loved ones.

I know it is popular to think that the rapture will occur before the tribulation......

It is one of those things I refer to as the bastardization of the Bible.

Our church used to show those "scare you straight" videos about the rapture but I can't remember the names of them. I think one of them was called "Left Behind". I just remember a scene where these kids come home from school or something and everyone is gone with no explanation.

My wife knows all the details, she taught AP World History at a private school, so she could talk about religion...anyway, they have only one space left for a portrait of the Pope. This was set up long ago by the Catholic Church as to the exact number of Popes before the rapture.
I will get with her tonight and come back with more info.

Google "the last Pope" and you will be flooded with articles.

No, I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you? So, to
ensure we Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on
killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile
certain people...

airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of
the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips,
and Medal of Honor winner and former Governor Joe Foss,

but leave Muslim Males between the ages 17 and 40 alone lest they be guilty
of profiling.

Obviously, I have no idea, but I don't perceive Obama to be the AntiChrist. Just all seems silly to me.
