Biden gonna tax us to death

Biden said nobody making under $400K will pay more, and people over $400K will pay an insignificant amount. I'll guarantee people under $400K will be paying a decent portion of the corporate, fuel, and other taxes.
ding ding ding... It is the wet dream of taxation... the ones they never see. Prices go up to cover, and viola' Joe 6 pack is paying the bill.

... and then there are the lost jobs.

Are you really going to die by paying more taxes?
Are those tax increases really going to accomplish anything? You're an idiot if you think it is going to 'get' the 'rich'. They already have their workarounds in motion. "They" ain't gonna be paying any more when it is all said and done... YOU are.

But keep believing you got 'em. That laughter you hear is aimed at you.

That didn't last long. It is now families making $400K will pay small to significant amounts (yes, he said significant, not insignificant, although because of his mental decline, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt as to what he thought he was saying). This according to the press secretary who, in a momentary lapse of discipline, answered a question, said question asking for clarification on whether the tax increase applied to individuals or families.

Here's one for all of you screaming that he would raise taxes..............
Taxes: Biden's stimulus provides larger single-year tax breaks than Trump's or Reagan's cuts - CNNPolitics

The multitude of tax breaks in the $1.9 trillion relief package signed this month by President Joe Biden will provide one of the biggest one-year tax cuts in modern history, a new analysis has found.
The tax breaks are 70% larger than those in any single year of the Republicans' 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, as a share of the economy, and also greater than the first year of former President Ronald Reagan's 1981 tax cuts, according to the non-partisan Tax Policy Center.

That article would have made Baghdad Bob proud.

Lol. It’s one year and the permanent “breaks” they’re shooting for is expanding on the bs deductions and credits that the moochers already get. A tax break for those that already don’t pay taxes. Lol F***ing *****.

It’s a bs article. They are considering the stimulus payments as a tax break plus the 1 time increase in the child tax credits. It’s propaganda.

Well, we have until May 17th to file a return this year. Trouble is, the first estimate is still due April 15th, which means you basically have to file a return to make a good estimate. Democrats....making real-time ex post facto tax law.

I paid more in '19 than I did in '18. I paid more in '20 than I did in '19.
And that means nothing. Why don't you plug those numbers into the tax rates during Zero's reign and tell me you paid more than you would have. Trump saved me well over $45K versus the thievery of your boy. And now your newest boy will stick his slimy hands right back into my wallet. I can hardly wait for the whore to take over. That is gonna be a flat out mugging.

Some - it was more from lost deductions.
I don't get any deductions other than the standard. I paid less. A LOT less.

You are nothing but a ****ing thief by proxy.

So you are in favor of this accelerated thievery? Please help me to understand the liberal mind on this. I really really want to understand.

Compare the thievery of a corporation like walmart who doesn't pay its employees enough to stay off government assistance. So my tax dollars supplement wealth of its owners. I don't mind seeing them get hit.

no no no.... You don't get to do that. Just tell me why you think it is OK for the government to take more of MY money just because I have been successful.

It’s crazy. If you were a tax cheat this year may be the best year to take a big swing.

In GA I don’t see how what you actually paid for the year went up. Was it the fact that the check you write when you file your taxes was bigger or the entire tax bill was bigger.

In my case my overall tax bill has gone down but what I owe went up since I haven’t adjusted my W4.

It's the changing of the law in March of 2021 for the entirety of 2020 that bothers me. I figure around August this year, the fools will jam through tax increases like we have never seen...and they will make them retro to January 1st. All tax planning had to be done by December, 2020.

Just like when Obama was elected and ACA was passed, you couldn’t plan **** with the constant delays, exemptions and changes.

You can count on that, 85% of mine gets taxed every year. All you have to do is have a few hundo in earnings and uncle Joe is sinking his teeth into your ass.
And if you're really lucky, you get to pay an extra Income Related Monthly Adjustment Amount for your Medicare Part B and Part D.
