That’s not bizarre at all. The same way most media outlets didn’t go too deep into the Clinton email content.

I’m not sure what the article not being a “fact check” has to do with anything. And yes they have both ran stories about the diary.

No. If I had your diary in TN and sold it in Ky, the fbi would not get involved. Let’s be honest.

But also do the legal proceedings not confirm the diary? The couple was charged with having her diary, not with forging it, right?

There aren't any sources aside from Project Veritas, National File and The Gateway Pundit that have said that those passages concerning sexual abuse/showering with her dad were written by Ashley Biden.

I’ve heard claims of a deleted tweet that Ashley sent out. Did not a single soul see it and screenshot it?

The diary does exist. The couple did not forge anything. Project Veritas and National File have fabricated passages to suit their agenda.

Interesting. So you think it was fake? The evidence we have so far is the fbi agrees someone had her diary and that it was her diary and the NYT agrees the posted info (which included allegations of molestation and showering with dad) were from her diary. That seems like a lot of solid info on my side.

Do you have anything that points to it being fake given all the info pointing to it being real it seems hard to argue against

Idk what that has to do with any of this. Let’s stay on topic. Given the fbi agrees someone took her diary and sold it to post online, and the nyt agrees the posts are from her diary, what reason do you have to doubt at this point?

The New York Times has not run a story which even mentions the content of the diary.

Conservative media outlets such as Fox News, The Washington Times and The Daily Caller would be all over this if it had been verified that Ashley Biden had written in her diary that she had been sexually abused by her dad.

They aren't running with it, because they don't trust Project Veritas. No reasonable or semi-intelligent person should.

It has everything to do with this. That is the one defense of it that many have brought up that Ashley admitted to it and then deleted the tweet. So for someone to claim that they saw it, it must exist somewhere.

I’m not sure about the tweet, but I am sure about the others. We agree the diary existed and parts of it were posted online right? Both the fbi and NYT seem to agree on that

Project veritas didn’t publish the content and instead turned it over to the fbi. Why are you making them into the bad guy here? What wrong did they do

The couple had admitted to taking the diary and selling it. The issue is over the content of the diary.

The New York Times has not addressed the content of the diary at all ... much less said that they verified that alleged passages concerning sexual abuse/showering with her dad were written by Ashley Biden.

That is a lie.

Project Veritas got a like-minded 3rd party named National File to publish fabricated passages from the diary for them... after handing it over to the FBI. Nobody else has discussed the content of her diary - just National File.

Yes, but The New York Times has not confirmed that alleged portions including sexual abuse/showering with her dad were written by Ashley Biden. As a matter of fact, The New York Times has not discussed the content of the diary at all.

There are copies posted of the the diary which if not real then some created/altered a document and published it...by definition that is forgery...therefore why haven't charges been brought against the 2 most likely PV and national file..instead. We get verification via a court case the diary is real...but nothing refuting the contents by either the writer (Ashley) or the prosecutors...curious

The Hunter laptop was in FBI possession a long time too and wasn’t covered. I do agree it seems unlikely with this though and, again, I sincerely hope it isn’t true for Ashley’s sake.
